This is a nice profuct its just that, the screws on the right side have to be either screwed in properly or removed so that the caddy fits in the space properly,I had to open my laptop to install it, later I realised the screws were a problem, but the caddy was fine,so I could have installed it without fiddling with my laptop too much.The extra screwdriver helps a lot as well its strong and gets the job done.

I am so Happy !!! I upgraded to Ssd by using caddy drive with my old HDD.
I thought it wouldn't fit in my CD bay ,that's why I am not buying it from 3-4 months but Finally I Bought it and It didn't Disappointed me | Perfect fitting ,No need worry ,but just check the size according to your laptop bay.Thank you

Quality caddy for HDD/SSD
I bought this for my macbook pro mid 2012, to place the old HDD at the optical drive bay, while I switch to a newer and faster SSD. My macbook is 5 years old and regret doing the swap now, because I can't image the past years with dirty slow boot times and application loads. I kept the RAM at 4 GB itself, but still my mac's a monster.Ran Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017, rendered a slow mo in 30 mins, which earlier took me 3 hours.. Not suitable for all laptops
Please ask before buy that it is suitable for your laptop or not, in my case i have dell 5559 laptop. And this product does not fit in my laptop it is thicker then the existing dvd rom, and there is no refund option for this product, so i have wested my money on this product.

Very nice product. Getting full speed on SSD (Over 500MBPS W/R). Only gripe is the outer cover of the optical drive tray does not fit properly on this. It will not come off as such, but if a piece of thread from a bag gets tangled in a crevice and we pull it, the cover pops off, unlike in the case of optical drive where the thread itself breaks.
