Not an A-quality product.
It appears these are units that couldn’t pass inspection as an A-quality product. Two of the 5 that I received failed to seal, and the other 3 do not have a snug fit that I can trust not to fail and flood the installation area. I wouldn’t use these at all if it weren’t for having my RO system installed next to a floor drain. On the other hand, a similar fitting cost 3 times more at Home Depot, so I decided not to return them to Amazon.

I installed a known good 1/8" NPT fitting to make sure and it worked ...
Please be aware, these fittings are not 1/8" NPT. They are BSP (British) not NPT.Even with 6 wraps of teflon tape the threaded part of the fitting leaks.I installed a known good 1/8" NPT fitting to make sure and it worked perfectly, without leaks

Incorrectly Sized Pex Quick Connect Fitting
Sizing is off for these smaller tubing fittings, the hole for tubing is 1/4" but the thread size is not NPT. They are of metric thread size and will not match up with most fittings sold at local home stores.

Well constructed fitting.
Perfect fitting for the job. Use Teflon tape on threaded portion or it will leak under pressure.
