I bought this chalk markers for the first time and I loved them ! They were easy to clean just with a damp paper towel and so easy to write with.I will definitely be buying more colors.

I've tried other brands of chalk markers and been disappointed. I'm sticking with this brand from now on. Colors are nice, they don't get clogged or dry out quickly.

I recently just painted an old boarded up fireplace in my room with some chalkboard paint. Since I cant build a real fire, I thought it might be neat to draw one; maybe add a little fire gate and fire pokers on the side, or maybe write some quotes to give inspiration while I get ready in the morning, something a long those lines. I initially bought some regular old chalk. The kind of chalk you used to see in old classrooms, but I hadn't really taken into account how A. easily that chalk breaks and B. that it really doesn't stand out unless your pushing down as hard as you can, which in turn, breaks the chalk. So I decided to look online to see if i could find some "higher quality" chalk. I was picturing those chalk drawings you see in coffee shops or little hipstery places, that are always drawn with a lot of detail and color. In my search for this magical chalk, that I secretly hoped would make me the next Picasso (if Picasso had drawn quotes to get ready for his morning), I stumbled upon this Versa Chalk. The reviews all seemed to be in line with what I was looking for and the product seemed to fall in that same category. The markers had fine tips, clean up was supposedly really easy and they had a lot of colors to choose from. So I decided to go ahead and purchase them. The VersaChalk really is all its cracked up to be. I was worried that me having to draw vertically might be a problem, but that was no issue at all. The colors are all really vibrant and there's no need to push down really hard to get that bright, stand out look I was hoping for. I've used all of the colors multiple times, at this point, and they all are still going strong. I was afraid they wouldn't last long but even the white chalk (which I use most often) still seems to be full. It is more of a paint texture vs. chalk but it still has the appearance of a chalk board drawing. The tips are fine tip so im able to draw details fairly easy. I say fairly because I'm really not the best artist, I can doodle all day, but ask me to draw a hand or something like that and well.. lets just say I try my best. However, with these chalkboard markers, I'd say the one hand I did attempt to draw is probably the best hand I have ever drawn. My only complaint is that I was expecting a couple of different colors based off of the picture provided. For instance the marker that I thought looked like a light pink/peach color is actually bright orange. It may have described the colors in the description, but I don't recall seeing that part in the description. Clean up is easy like they claim it to be. Even if I've left my latest "masterpiece" up for a week or more, they still wipe away with just a damp rag. Other than the color issue (which really wasn't a huge deal) I really dig these markers and I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality chalk board drawing utensils.

I've been a fan of Versa Chalk for several years. The pens always work well, the colors are always vivid, and this brand actually erases easily and completely, unlike a lot of other chalk markers.

I had high hopes of this product, and although it is packaged very well and looks high quality, it leaves imprint of the ink behind on chalkboard. Not sure how to completely get it off now that it’s been on there.

Chalkboard paint pens for chalkboards? Hmmm, liquid markers. Okay, in my small world, I write on a chalkboards with chalk sticks ya know the kind I used to scribble on the pavement with as a kid, just smaller. Well, did you know lots of people use erasable, liquid chalk pens in dozens of colors on a plain old chalkboard? I do now. What a great set of pens, though thick, each had a reversible tip. Pull out the bullet nib and put in the chisel tip. Oh, boy! I purchased these because of the classic earth tones. Then I purchased a set of brighter colors, of course. So now to find a non porous surface...wine glass, a plastic tray, a piece of metal or even a chalkboard. I don't own a chalkboard, yet I had these wonderful pens. This is the kicker...I'm a coloring book enthusiast (Colorist), and I owned a copy of Chalkboard-Style coloring book, the Garden by Deb Strain. Purchased on Amazon. Paper is porous. No where did I see use on paper, But I wanted a chalk effect in this book with its black, chalkboard background. I had considered using pastel pencils for that chalky effect. I didn't...the WIP photo is the result of using liquid chalk pens and a few supplies for blending on ( porous) coloring book paper. No bleed through. It's what I'd hoped for, and got much of it with VersaChalk. Now to find out who sells liquid chalk pens in a fine tip, slimmer version. These are a keeper...good flow after priming, juicy, dries quickly, can be moved a bit when a similar colored pastel pencil is lightly blended on top. Wait 'til the word gets out!

I am so disappointed by these chalk markers! I looked at a lot before i bought them and these had the best reviews. So i confidently bought them to use on my daughter's beautiful easel chalkboard. It says it can be wiped off with a damp cloth.Nope! It says it can be wiped off with a magic eraser..Nope! I now have a brand new beautiful wood easel that has a permanently marked up chalkboard(and btw, its a high quality chalkboard so this should not have happenedUPDATE:The below review I posted before I spoke with the company. I was very upset because my daughter's new easel was marked what seemed to be permanently by these markers. HOWEVER, after I corresponded with the company, (quick responding and very helpful) they sent me, free of charge and with what must have been the speediest delivery, their cleaning kit and as a gift, their rustic chalkboard. The cleaning kit i'm happy to say, has cleaned my daughter's easel and it looks great. I tried the markers on the board they sent, and they do wipe off when dry. So i would purchase these again, with the caveat, that to be sure to test your chalkboard before using these as they dont come off on some boards.Thanks Versachalk for your wonderful customer service. Used on a large wall mounted chalkboard in the kitchen. Brilliant markers, easy to use once you've remembered to shake and pump them. Very vibrant colours that can also do fine detail and easy to remove even after a few days, leaving no ghosting like other pens we've had. Think I like them as much as the kids!

The colours are nice and bright! Gave 4/5 stars because it took a bit to get markers flowing and they started to leak from the seam where the shaft and the tip hub meet after one use.

I was slightly dubious about whether they would wipeOff my painted chalkboard (not sure if it’s pourous or not, I didn’t pay attention to the tin !) however tested in a small area and it came off easily with damp cloth lovely colours too😊
