It didn't look like the picture when it arrived. It has a gas tank attached to it. I had to remove that. Our previous Syx Moto engine was problematic and smoked badly. This started right up, has great compression, doesn't smoke as badly, is faster, doesn't stall, doesn't have a tube you have to blow in when there float sticks, and feels better quality. I had to use old gear box and adjust wiring to connect. Also, it's a different hose size, but the existing hoses stretch with some effort.

Such a cheap product. Out of the box the stator was bad had to replace with old one. Now carburetor is over flowing during idle which is really high and adjustment is all the way out. Bottom line you get what you pay for. I gambled and lost.

Solid motor. As described. Good compression. Runs like a beast once you tune carb. Note: carb will have to be tuned. The motor is 5stars. The carb will need adjusting and tuning. For ppl who dont know how to do this. Simple carb adjustment can make someone think the motor is garbage when really it is not. Im 190lbs and it moves me just fine on my pocket bike.

Right outa the box I could tell this was a good deal. Solid little runner

I like the motor. the carburetor shut off valve deteriorated and pieces of the seal got caught in the needle and seat and the gas ran out of the carburetor. I would suggest that the shut off valve not be part of the carburetor. Another thing I don’t like is the carb is very difficult to adjust to keep it running and I have to use starting fluid every time to start it.

This motor is garbage, it blew up and windowed the piston after an hour of riding. It was down on power when it first initially ran. Absolutely garbage do not buy

Engine works well so far, only problem was I had to switch out gear boxes, the one it came with was longer then the one that came on the ssr50 I have, so the gear box was hitting the Fran and not allowing me to put motor in. Once I switched them out everything went smoothly, engine fit and mounted right up no problem. I will look into if there’s a spacer set up to be able to use gearbox that came on engine. But this is not a direct replacement for an ssr50. The package was nice having a new throttle cable assembly, cable and new handle bar grips.
