Curtains that are an EXCELLENT purchase and a HUGE help to keeping your room(s) warm or cool depending on the weather!
Excellent item! I bought two sets in white (each package comes with two panels) for my bedroom - had an issue with one set initially, but was able to get that exchanged with no problems through Amazon. The curtains are a BIG help in keeping the cold air out, along with keeping the room dark at night. I live in a condo complex and face a parking lot. The lights tend to be a bit bright outside at night so these curtains are the perfect filter for those! I'm also considering using these during the summer months to keep the hot sun out of my bedroom! My two windows already have blinds and I've had thin curtains as window treatments since moving in. After last winter, I felt I needed something a little heavier would be a help in keeping the room warmer. The length I purchased - the 52" x 84" curtains - were the perfect length and width for my windows and they are perfect for the pocket rods I have for my window treatments. These are also usable with a decorative rod, which I may get for my windows down the road. These also work WONDERFULLY with my thin curtains! All I had to do was remove the valance and put up the room darkening curtains! Plus, each set comes with it's own tie backs (they don't actually "tie" back, they're velcro) and if you want your room to look a bit more on the "formal" side, these are a definite plus! I truly LOVE these!!! I would consider telling family members about these and maybe even buying a set for my Mother's room soon!

EXCELLENT QUALITY!!!
Sea Foam Green/bought in 2021: This is my second set I bought and this color is absolutely beautiful! Its like the equivilant of very light baby blue but in aqua green. It's even better than that because they are a light and the color is not over bearing, nor takes attention away from the rest of your decor, nor clashes with other colors. The color beautifully blends and unifies all colors. Its so beautiful and relaxing to look at. It puts me in a good mood. The only bad thing about them is I wished each panel was wider by a few inches, like 60 inches wide instead of 52 inches. So, now I have to buy another set and only then will 3 panels cover my entire large window. I bought these with grommets, with the holes to insert the curtain rod. My navy blue ones I purchased before don't have grommets and now I wish I had chosen that option. Either way they are both thick but not heavy and black out your room completely. They did not smell upon opening them. I appreciate how neatly packed they come in a sturdy box that you can reuse again. I still have my old box from 2 years ago. Navy Blue/bought in 2018: These are great. They are thick. The color is vibrant but true to the dark blue tone. I havent put mine up but they are very good quality. They have a great texture too.

Very good blackout curtains, perfect color!
I recently switched out some of my curtains and thus needed some new ones. After looking online and in store I found these and really liked the color and the price (plus they were close in color to the sheer ones I use on the same windows during the spring and summer). They arrived quickly and were just the right color for the "new look" I was going for. The quality seems to be really good and they were very easy to put up. They were very wrinkled at first, expected, but after using a steamer on them they look so much better! They are great at blocking light during the day and keeping things a little warmer as well. The one downside is that I bought two sets and one set did not have the tie-backs. Not a huge deal overall, but when I went to my orders to mention it and see if I could get them sent I couldn't. My only option would have been to send the entire set back and since I had already taken the time to hang them I did not want to do that. I will figure something else out for something that minor, but I do wish Amazon gave an option for getting just the tie-backs instead of me having to send everything back and be sent another set to solve the issue...

Great quality and look for the money (College student)
Initial Reaction: Being a college student, I was looking for an inexpensive, great quality, great color, and large enough curtain to block a section of my dorm from light coming from the other side. I must say, I wish I had bought these sooner. As soon as you open the box you get two curtains and two velcro straps to keep the curtains in place if you want to tie them up. I ordered the 52" x 84" curtains in Navy. Immediately, I see the great color and notice the sturdy material that I knew would be good for blacking out the light. Although the purchase came with two curtains, I only needed one to cover a distance of about 50 inches. Although the curtains are sturdy, they fit perfectly on our tension rod (it's a long and thin one, but great quality) and are not heavy enough to bend the rod. Overall, very happy with the order and I know I will be using this curtain for the rest of my time living in a dorm. Pros: -Sturdy / Thick material -Nice colors -Great for blacking out lights -Not too heavy (will be perfect for a good tension rod) -Comes with two curtains and two velcro straps Cons: -Unsure why, but one side of the curtain is white and the other side is navy. This isn't much of a problem for me, but I would rather have an all navy curtain as I was hoping for. -The slot for a tension rod or any rod is pretty small, so make sure you have a thin enough rod. Overall: Overall I would recommend this curtain to anyone, especially college students. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the two different colored sides. Other than that, perfect.

Great material, product and price.
I bought the 52*84 in black to line some existing blackout out curtains in my Den to improve warmth. The old curtains did a great job blocking light but were not thermal. I anticipated using one panel each window, the room has two windows, but one panel did not provide the overlap on the ends I wanted, and the fabric and lining (white) are heavy and thick so two panels were too much for one window. The lining is white as anticipated, which I like and wanted. I used both panels instead on a 90*54 window that had exisitng curtains hung for 84 inches and it works perfect I replaced a sheer layer of a three layer setup with these being the layer closets to the window glass. The previous set up allowed light in, these curtains blocked all the light. I'm trying decide if I want to somehow incorporate the patterned sheer panel that previously was only visible when the other two layers were openeded. If I keep it, it will be visible all the time as seen in the attached picture. The new curtains can not be seen in the picture. There is another smaller 35*53 for which I will have to purchase curtains for. The bigger window has 4 panels each of the two layers. So I'm thinking I will move one panel each to the smaller window and add one of these blackout panels, because I have had my exisitng curtains for several years and JCP no longer sales them. Overall great by, while I would not use the black as a primary layer (its not a true black, more of a dull/faded black), I would definetly by this again. I will update my photo once I finish the other window to give an idea of the level of blackout.

... different black-out curtains and these are by far the best! They really do COMPLETELY block out the light
I have had multiple different black-out curtains and these are by far the best! They really do COMPLETELY block out the light. They work great! But be warned, just because they block out the light, that does not mean light will not get in. This is no error on the curtains part, but depending on the size of your window (mine is a little smaller, like 40" wide) they tend to billow a bit in the middle and the ends. So I had to buy some little pieces of stick-on velcro to keep the middles together and to seal it to the walls. If you have a larger window, then this will be less noticeable as the curtains are not as squished together like mine. Also, there will always be a gap at the top where curtain rod is away from the wall. my rod is about 3-4 inches away from the wall, and that window faces west, so during the day, the sun is shining right on it and the light through that gap reflects off the white ceiling and can still bother me while im sleeping during the day. But again, that is no fault of the curtains. I just wanted to warn you that your room will not be pitch black with them. If I had to find one negative thing about them, is that they are very simple and do not look fancy to chic at all. They will not get you any style points. They are simple and functional. if you want these as a nice accent in a well decorated room, maybe look elsewhere. They are not fancy or whatever at all. Quite plain in fact. But for my needs in the bedroom of a mid-20s male who works nights, they work great!

Great budget curtains that really do darken your room!
I'm really pleased with these blackout curtains! Let's start off with the packaging! These curtains came neatly folded and were well-protected in a very easy to open AmazonBasics box. They are definitely a little wrinkled out of the box, and I suppose you could iron the curtains if you want them straightened out, but personally I found no need to do so. My curtains came in Seafoam Green, and the colors perfectly matched the colors online. There is a white panel on the other side of the curtains, which I assume is for blocking out light. And speaking of which, these curtains really do a miraculous job of darkening your room! You can see it yourself in the pictures I've taken. Note that my camera decided to overexpose the picture with the curtains drawn; let me assure you that the room was actually really dark! I tried shining a flashlight through the curtains, and placed it directly over sunlight to see if any light would leak through, and nothing did! The tie-backs are also really simple to use and come with Velcro. I don't have any complaints about these curtains, but I will say that they are indeed very simple, no-frills curtains. You are definitely getting what you pay for, and nothing more. If you want curtains with more style, then you probably shouldn't invest in these curtains. But if you want something cheap and effective for blocking out light, then these curtains are perfect for the job. I loved these curtains so much that I bought 2 more curtains in Seafoam Green, and another one in Navy Blue.

It's very casual for a high use are
1st let me start by saying that I purchased these during black Friday as a lighting deal. This color was $8.16. I was not a huge fan of the color but considering that they are going to my kitchen door with a four-year-old grandson in the house that goes in-and-out, I considered it as a cheaper makeover that won't be expensive to change out within a year to something I like more. Turns out the color that I will be painting the kitchen will probably look really good with these. They black out the light. Good here in Florida when no one is home do cut down on the heat. All of the photos are during ironing according to the directions. Hoping they will fall out after hanging for awhile. I was not expecting the tie backs and they are rather plain. I am considering using some silver sparkle from my local crafts store to add and have them stand out more against my slate gray walls soon to come. If I did not have Littles in the house, I would have returned. They are practical and durable for my current situation.
