Wizarding World of Harry Potter Time Turner Keychain

I got a cheap plastic piece of junk! And it doesn’t look like the picture. I have never seen such a cheap keychain! Don’t waist your money!

Absolutely beautiful & well made! I'm separating the keychain section, which has "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" logo, to use as a keychain (I wouldn't use the whole thing to carry keys; I'd be afraid that the keys might damage the hourglass), and attaching a gold chain to the actual time turner to wear as a necklace. Two terrific pieces of Harry Potter memorabilia at one low price!

I bought the keychain because I was afraid the necklace would be too delicate to actually wear. It came in today and it is nicer than I was expecting from the picture. It is very shiny gold, heavy, and fully functional (in that all the rings move, not in that it actually turns back time). I'm just going to put it on a gold chain and I've got exactly what I wanted without the $50 price tag of the actual necklace, which has a glass hourglass that some reviewers say breaks easily. Also, it came with a recipe for Butterbeer. Win!

Doesn't have the markings on the side like others, so I was a bit disappointed by that. However, it seems like a solid keychain, and since my keys get banged around a lot I'm sure it'll last. I still plan to get another from another brand/perhaps the collector one (I don't plan to use it, just display). Overall, for a keychain it is good, but there are a few details that it lacks. For the price I'd have expected it to have them, but oh well. I still plan to use it.Update 28/12/13: So The center-most ring on the time turner fell out maybe a week ago (so about four and a half months after buying it). Thankfully I found the piece and nothing was broken, it had just fallen out. I was able to fit it in again and it stayed for about a day before falling out again. I noticed that the place it fits together seemed a bit wide and was able to use a vice action grip to tighten the section to get rid of the gap and issue, so I think as long as I check to make sure it doesn't widen again it'll be alright. It has gotten a little dinged up - the gold plating has all stayed and I think the plastic bit where the sand it has worn well. I've dropped my keys quite a lot so I'm not surprised and I won't change my star rating, just a heads up to make sure all the joints aren't getting loose as you may lose a piece if you use it as a keychain. I'm thinking if you use it as a necklace you won't have to worry about this as much as you aren't as likely to drop it as much as your keys, but still a good thing to look out for.

I love Harry Potter and I was so excited to have a time turner keychain. It is exactly how it looks in the picture. It actually turns and the sand moves and everything. The reason I'm only giving it three stars though, is because within like a couple weeks, it had fallen off the keyring TWICE and I lost it somewhere in Wal Mart. So if you do decide to purchase this product, I would recommend immediately trying to find a more secure way to attach it to a keyring.

1)The two handles on the sides doesn't work. In the movie it does move right and left to move it in circles. 2) the hourglass is extremely dirty, clogged and scratched! Very disappointing!

I bought this at universal studios, it looked kind of cheap but feels quite sturdy; I fell in love once i put my keys on it. It's a LOT cheaper than the -official- necklace and having the hourglass made of plastic instead of actual glass, makes it safe to actually use it... I bought this one from amazon because mine broke (it fell from a 3rd floor), but it's really good for a non-violent use. Plus, its rings spin in the most smoothly way <3For those who want to know, it's cheaper to buy in universal studios, around 12.50 (plus taxes), but of course you'd had to pay the entrance to the park and of course it is IMPOSSIBLE to go to the wizarding world of hp and not buy EVERYTHING you put your eyes on. so, yes, you basically WANT to pay amazon this 20 bucks to be a happier not SO poorer person n_n.

It's looks really nice but falls apart constantly. I threw it away after only a week because it fell apart EVERY DAY. This is the second time I bought this product. I really loved it and was hoping it was just a one time defect. The first one did last a bit longer. I had that one for about a month before it fell apart. I tried fixing it, but it just wouldn't hold together. Very disappointed :(
