This was actually quite easy to assemble, took about 20 minutes using two people. It is very sturdy and the way the seat is made it is super comfortable. It swings great and looks fantastic on my front porch. It comes with chains but you will need to purchase the items needed to attach to the ceiling, they are not included. It looks like wood without ever having to paint it. This will definitely last a lifetime. Highly recommend. Great price for this quality poly wood!

Beautiful, sturdy bench well worth the money. We purchased a varnished wooden outdoor bench last spring thinking it was more economical, and by the end of the year the varnish had splintered and peeled off and the wood was rotting. My parents have a polywood swing bench nearly ten years old that still looks brand new, so we decided to make the investment and we couldn’t be happier with this bench. The size is perfect, the seat is extremely comfortable, and the finish is beautiful.

This porch swing seems to be an excellent product. It was easy to assemble. It is well engineered. It is strong and comfortable. The material is the poly wood like the Trex deck material but it seems to be much stronger and does not flex. It will never chip or peal because the color is made into the material. It has a wood grain surface. Feels very smooth and easy to clean. I believe we will enjoy this swing very much through the years.

I spent DAYS over analyzing everything about porch swings. Did I want real wood or this pretend wood? Would it look like a cheap piece of plastic? Would it be really uncomfortable? Etc etc. I can't speak to how easy it was to assemble as I hired someone at the Amazon check out process to put it together for me (that worked out really well). You will need to buy the chain links at the top for it--see other reviews. After all this research what do I think? Love it. I find it very comfortable (without a cushion), and don't have any issue with the back of it pressing into my back (a few reviews said that). I'm 5'8" and my husband is 6'4" and no problems for him either, or our kids. Looks great (not exactly like wood but close enough and I won't have to keep painting it). Very sturdy. Hangs on the front porch of our 1905 home. We use it every day and love it. (Would I have been any less happy with my 2nd place choice? Probably not, so don't stress about it too much :) )

Our swing arrived in great shape, it was easy to put together, in about 20 minutes, by myself and the finished product looks great! Make sure to order the hardware that screws into the ceiling because it is not included. I never have to paint this swing and it washes off beautifully!

Sieht wirklich toll aus, ist sehr stabil! Der Aufbau erfolgt am Besten zu Zweit, da beim Verschrauben doch Kraftaufwand u. Gegendruck erforderlich ist. Passt perfekt auf meine Terrasse meines Schwedenhauses. :-)
