High recommend this product!
Must have if you are a male cat parent. The color of my cat's litter gets dark when clumped and it's hard to notice if there is blood or not. Even just rubbing on to the clumped sand (with slightly wet region), the color changes. Using the paper strip, my male cat did have slight blood in his urine, and he did have bladder stone confirmed by the ultrasound at the vet clinic. I highly recommend.

Accurate and easy to use.
We’ve recently adopted a paralyzed kitten. She doesn’t have functional of her urine. Testing her for infections is something we must do. These make it easy to keep track of her health. Colors are bright and accurate, speed is fast and they seem to work amazingly. We are extremely pleased with these test strips. Highly recommend to keep track of your fur babies health.

Useful tests, maybe save the money, switch diet
I purchased these because my cat started urinating on the litter mat right in front of the litter box. I did a test strip that came back high on leukocytes and protein. (Upon looking at the other reviews it looks like the high leukocytes is a common test result and does not mean UTI!!). I took my cat to the vet just to be sure, urinalysis costs $209.No UTI, but her protein is too high which is throwing off her pH and resulting in ammonia crystals. The recommendation is to lower her pH back to neutral by increasing water intake and switching her food to a urinary friendly one. For reference, I have been feeding her Tiki Cat dry food and tiki cat broths w chicken as treats.

An absolute must have
I definitely recommend this kit. After several trips to the Vet with no answers and an empty pockets for more than a year., I decided to purchase this and test it on my dog. The test showed the sugar was extremely high. Then I realized he was diabetic. But, it was too late. He went blind and died literally within a few months of me figuring it out on my own. But this! It’s worth it!

Dog urinalysis test is matched at the vets
These are wonderful I take them with us to the vet and they accept the 2 a day test I use for my dog with auto immune disease she has health issues and these are quick easy to read I log hers on in a notebook, helps with blood cell count, ph level and kidney function. From her test I can am learning how adjusting my dogs food and fluid can drastically change her results helps me when she is on antibiotics I can tell by the test how her body responds. So it helps me help her. She’s a big girl 100 pounds but got a routin I use a sterilized in hot water 1/2 cup measuring cup walk behind her in a leash and as she goes p I just quickly catch of course yes it’s that simple. Then let her finsh and quickly take it inside to her little station on her little shelf that’s set up for her, near the wash room. Dip it in a glass canning jar this is so easy and you can boil anything you use or just toss and go for disposable cups but this works little handle on measuring cup and I can place the stick in and then into the glass jar where I can view it and write her results. Said all that to help any other fur parents. But these do work and they match the vet that I use and my dog is not stressed it’s just a routine ! Bless all the fur babies !!

I would not trust the results for UTI
To be fair, I bought this batch almost 2 years ago, and the product is supposed to have a 2 year shelf life if the bottle is unopened, otherwise the shelf life is only 3 months. I have no idea when I opened the bottle. My dog was urinating a lot so I used a few strips 2 days ago. They came up strong positives for both leukocytes and nitrites, which would indicate a urinary tract infection (UTI). I took my dog to the vet, who collected urine directly from the bladder. Culture came back completely negative (no UTI). I happen to have a background in medical technology, so I did some detective work. I used some more dipsticks on my dog's urine, and they showed positive again for a UTI. So, I tested my tap water, and got a positive there. Granted, these are old strips, but I noticed that other reviewers are questioning the accuracy. Oh, and since I happened to have some Azo strips (for humans), I retested my dog's urine. Negative for a UTI. Draw your own conclusions.

Hard to interpret some of the colors
Some of the colors are just hard to tell if they've changed, and by how much. It's not a super accurate system. For the price, it's not bad, and it's probably more useful for diabetic dogs than what I needed it for (wanted to check if my dog might have a UTI before paying for an expensive vet visit). I ended up having to recheck it several times, then asking someone I know who is experienced at reading these things to check it again for me. Luckily it comes with a bunch of test strips, but it feels more like trying to do a middle school science project, than doing something important like checking for elevated leukocytes in my elderly dog.I'd prefer more obvious colors, or maybe a digital reader for future issues. Still, for ten bucks, it wasn't terrible, just not great.

Reliable results
I use these regularly for my dogs when urine accidents happen to monitor for infection and ketone/glucose monitoring. Easy to use and record results on paper. This product is great value for my money.
