No but you can try bleaching your hair (not the bleach with purple tint) and re dyeing it the same color.

I usually have my hair dyed "unnatural colors" and this product does strip the color a bit. I But I use semi-permanent not permanent hair dye which is probably why.

It depends. If shampoo is part of the cause for scalp irritation, then using a second shampoo can still be causing part of the problem. However, in some cases using shampoo is fine. If something else is causing your scalp issues, the tar coal extract in this can still potentially treat and help the condition even if you use another shampoo. So it really depends on the person. I use a second shampoo but it still doesn't cover the smell.

Can I use this for my 6 year old who itches and has a flaky scalp? Or is this recommended for adults only?

If your child is sensitive to noxious odors I wouldn't use it. The smell was unbearable, and took several washes to get the odor out of my hair.
