Great wee book

Esta serie de libros para colorear es de mis favoritas. El bloc de láminas está realmente pensado para colorear. El papel es grueso, suficiente para usar diferentes técnicas. Viene impreso de un solo lado. Las laminas son desprendibles. La tapa trasera es de cartón muy grueso, que da excelente soporte incluso si no hay una mesa a la mano (el tamaño y diseño son perfectos para exteriores).El hecho de que sean temáticos resulta en imágenes un tanto repetitivas pero la verdad es que me gusta tener varias versiones del mismo elemento para colorearlas de forma diferente. En este libro hay muchos flamingos, piñas, tucanes y pericos con los que se puede experimentar.Las líneas de los dibujos tienden a ser delgadas, pero hay diseños de tamaños diferentes, desde los sencillos hasta los muy complejos que abarcan toda la página.

Fun Fun! I used several of the pictures for cards and tops of wrapped gifts! Looks Great! Good variety of pictures for anyone to color.

Vive Le Color adult coloring books are the best ones out there, in my opinion. I have a few of them, and when I saw that Tropics was a new release, I just had to get it. Nothing beats palm trees & clear blue water - wish I lived somewhere tropical, and maybe someday, I will! While it's a wonderful idea to have a tropics theme, I felt that this was not executed as well as it could have been. Many of the coloring areas are extremely jagged, and even with the finest of fine line markers or colored pencils, it's real easy to go outside the lines. I'm a self-admitted perfectionist when it comes to coloring (well, I try to be), and, well, this book frustrates me! An adult coloring book should not cause frustration, it's supposed to be relaxing! That being said, there are some more "normal" coloring pages in this book, comparable to what I've seen in my other Vive Le Color books. It's not all bad, but definitely don't pay full price for this one if you can avoid it.
