Thunderstorm Roll On Perfume Oil, 0.33 Oz, Long-Lasting

the scent is... interesting I was looking for something like refreshing petrichor , but this one smells like plant juice and some muddy water. It does give off thunderstorm/petrichor vibes, but I think it lacks heavy ozonic notes Also, the scent is not sweet at all, which is a plus.

Lovely unique scent. Cant stop smelling my wrist. Its a mineral like but not at all overpowering, very unisex, neither masculine nor feminine. If your unsure just try the roll on. I only wished I bought a bigger bottle.

This oil smells EXACTLY like that wet earth after a rain smell. It's absolutely INTOXICATING. HOWEVER...the scent literally only lasts about 10-20 minutes and it's GONE! I wanted so much for this to be a long lasting scent but, it's not. If the scent lasted longer (as an oil is supposed to) I'd try to give it 6 stars instead of 4. The scent itself is unmistakable and smells EXACTLY like that petrichor smell we all love. So disappointing this didn't last.

Smells like the earth after rain. Wet soil and a cloudy sky. I bought this because I was interested in Petrichor. I saw people suggest this as a better option and its wonderful. Very grounding.

I read tons of reviews on this scent and Rain by Demeter. Based on reviews, I chose to try this one. If you want anything that smells natural or like it's a mix of essential oils, this isn't it. Nothing about this perfume smells natural to me. I had hoped it would at least smell earthy and like nature in some fashion, but it doesn't at all. If you want something neutral and agender, this scent may work for you. It leans toward masculine, but only in the way that it lacks sweetness or floral qualities. My wife's stolen it for herself, because she likes the smell far more than I do. The scent didn't cause any headache or allergies for me (a standard problem with some synthetic scents). It reminds me of my old Irish grandpa, like someone who used a scented bar soap and then maybe sat out in the garden for an hour or two. I know, that's a weird description - but I can't think of anything better.

Thunderstorm smells good. Good, not great. And it doesn’t smell like a thunderstorm to me, it’s an unusual smell but a pleasant one, nonetheless. The big problem I have with it is; I bought the roller applicator version of this scent and I applied a generous amount to my wrists and back of my neck and less than five 5 min later I asked my gf to smell my wrists and neck and she smelled… nothing. I smelled my wrist and the scent was…gone. I was disappointed but learned an inexpensive lesson.

Wow. I love the smell of a thunderstorm so I thought I'd give it a skeptical try. I knew there would be something... "evocative" of a thunderstorm because demeter is amazing at that olfactory manipulation. Combining elements in such a way that you can't remember the scent being the real thing unless you smell the real thing again, such a great trick... but when I tell you that I just put this Thunderstorm on right out of the package... and I smell wet leaves being blown through pouring down rain and ozone & petrichor...all the smells that come out of the ground as it gets washed & slowly saturated... I mean it is wild! If you need to smell a thunderstorm, get this. Either Demeter really got me again, or I just put a real thunderstorm on my pulse points.

I know everyone smells things differently due to association, to me this smells like the white and green parts of a watermelon rind- but not the fruit or juice. It's a slightly sweet damp vegetation smell, and it also smells slightly of camphor (think Vicks but not nearly as strong & no menthol or eucalyptus) That said this is not a muddy earth smell. It doesn't smell of soil, more a pleasant vegetation type of musk, or closer to wet concrete sidewalks than wet dirt. It does not smell like grass either. I love this scent very much and bought it to layer with other scents since I enjoy mixing it up. Definitely perfect for a summer or spring scent. Lasts about 4 hours or so if applied during moisturizing after a shower and allowed time to soak in.

tbh don’t LOVE the smell, especially if you’re looking for a soft petrichor. i find it’s almost sour. still nice to pair with other perfumes though to add a earthy bite

I was hoping for a great facsimile of a thunderstorm as I am familiar with some of Demeter’s other fragrances. However, this roll on perfume oil smells mostly of warm mud, and something faintly vegetal. Perhaps some of the other fragrance notes evaporated because of the open bottle. Too bad. I was really looking forward to wearing it. I’m scent sensitive and used to really enjoy perfume. This fragrance is non irritating, but not particularly distinct either. Just kinda meh.
