Fits, works perfectly!
My Jeep Wrangler is a 2008 and suddenly last winter, the blower motor starts shrieking like a banshee. I looked around for a replacement. I shopped at the dealer where they wanted over $100 for this part. Amazon to the rescue. I ordered this (after doing a little research on the manufacturer TYC and checking other reviews) and not only saved over 50% on the cost, but now I don't need to worry about my heater/ac blower suddenly shrieking again or going out completely. Good product, easy to install and fantastic price!UPDATE:I have had this item for a few months now and it works just fine. In fact, I think it moves more air than the original equipment blower assembly. It is also very quiet. Great price, great product.UPDATE #2:Maybe the Honda's original equipment motor blows like a hurricane and that's why some Honda owners don't like the output of this item. This motor, in my Jeep Wrangler, puts out much more air than the original, and quietly. Still impressed with this product!UPDATE #3:I have had this motor for almost 3 years now and it still works beautifully! Easy to install and much better than the original. I use it a lot too, living in Anchorage - all winter long! If you have a Jeep JK and are looking to replace the blower motor, this is the one!

Good quality and reliable
I bought this unit for my 2009 civic because my OEM unit failed. This fan is about 1/3 the price of OEM from Honda and has worked reliably for me for over a year now. The unit is quiet and installs easily. My only complaints are that the electrical connection required a bit of pressure to fully connect as it was a tight fit and the highest setting is slightly less powerful than OEM. However, it has worked great and the air flow is plenty and this is significantly cheaper than a Honda unit, not to mention you can save a ton of money by installing this at home in about 10-15 minutes using nothing more than a ratchet or a screwdriver.

15-minut install with an 8mm socket
Took 15 minutes to install in my driveway. OEM unit (2009 Wrangler) finally went out (that it's bee submersed in mud / water several times probably didn't help). So far, it works great. Not loud, blows as much air as the factory unit and fit perfectly. Simply unplug the electrical connector under the glovebox and remove the 3x 8mm screws from the bottom and it drops right out. Literally 15 minutes start to finish, including 2 trips to the garage for tools. We'll see how long it lasts, but for this price, and the time to change, I'd be happy with 3 years. Anything more is a bonus.

Works great and pretty easy.
I have a 2006 civic LX (Canada-made). My blower was making noise and then finally quit altogether. So I changed it out. I know some people posted they had a 10 mm or phillips screws holding it in (on youtube), but in my case they were unusual star-type security screws. Luckily a torx bit fit in almost right and since these are not very tight it worked fine (could not make a phillips work but I think a very small hex -- much smaller than 10 mm - might have fix around the outside of them as well). Something to keep in mind. Other than the unusual screws this was a very easy job. You just unsnap a large plastic baffle that is under the glove box and then this thing is facing straight up. Undo the connector, unscrew the three screws, put the new one in, screw the three screws, redo the connector. Like 15 minutes. The TYC item works great and in my case is quieter than the Honda unit even when it was new. I was surprised the Honda unit had quite a bit of rust in the center, but this car has been a bit of lemon for me anyway, so at least this was a cheap fix.

Solid OEM replacement blower fan.
Appears to be an exact replacement for the blower fan in a 2008 Honda Civic. The OEM fan would, on occasion, not turn on. This would occur after starting the car.+ Installation was easy+ Functioned well out of the box+ Quiet+ Build quality appears OEM-level- Feels like slightly less CFM than stock. Not empirically measured.I would purchase this again.

Awesome Part 5 Extremely Easy 5 Minute Install/Replacement.
I can't believe I waited so long to investigate what was wrong with my AC in my 2007 Honda civic. After some research I came to this product on amazon and started reading the reviews. One of the other reviews discussing the AC sounding like a poker card attached to the tire of a bicycle sounded like my exact story. Sometimes it wouldn't blow air but I could tell the hot and cold still worked. When it did blow air it made that sound I just described. Since another review described my exact situation I went ahead and bought the part. I have never worked on my car before, but I just bought a house so I'm trying to save money anywhere I can. Auto zone had the factory part for $97 plus tax, however, the reviews are spot on that it isn't a powerful tornado like the factory blower. I will say during my 1 hour commute to work today in 30° weather after 5 minutes I started sweating and had to turn the heater down and Crack a window, so it definitely gets the job done. This is an excellent replacement part for $40 and it literally took me 5 minutes to replace, all I needed was a screw driver. After 3 months with a broken blower I feel dumb for not putting in the 1 minute effort to figure out how to do this myself sooner.

unbeatable value
I work for Honda. This heater motor is a perfect fit and operates quietly. It is well (perfectly) balanced and installed in minutes as it lines up perfectly. Excellent value for a great product.
