I really love these bowls. They don't slide all over the floor and are a good weight. They're perfect size for normal sized cans of wet cat food and I personally have not experienced any chipping or peeling of the bowls. I hand wash all my things with dawn and scrub them so maybe the ones who are having issues put them in the dishwasher? Not sure but definitely don't let others persuade you into thinking these are low quality. If they give you an issue, it's amazon.. Just return it! But it's totally worth a shot

My cats love these bowls. They are just the right size and don't slip around. They are very attractive and well made. It's a great deal and you get two bowls for what most would cost for just one. Full bellies and happy purrs when using this bowl.

Bought these because my cat kept tipping his water bowl! So far, he hasn't managed to tip these yet!

Very happy with these so far. Holds 3 oz of wet cat food easily. I don’t put them in the dishwasher often because our dog cleans them daily for us;) Bonus that they look so nice.

I had to go out and buy new food bowls for my cat, Toby. He decided that when he was done eating his bowl should be removed. He would make motions over the bowl like he burying it. I have a small counter on the farther side of the stove and not where I don't do any cooking and I have to feed him there because I have bilateral knee replacements and back problem and can't bend that low. Anyway, Toby is usually well behaved, but, he suddenly decided that if I didn't take the bowl away, he would flip it over and onto the floor where suddenly his collection of breakable food dishes began to break every day! I don't know why the bowls even bothered him. It is not like he would be using that area to play or anything. I bought these wide base food dishes with aluminum bowls are removeable. Only after, did I find out that these bowls were dishwasher safe but I would have to remove the rubber ring that goes around the wider edge of the base. The only problem with that, is that the rubber ring will stretch very soon and break because the rubber on that ring is kind of flimsy. That ring is the only way to avert Toby from pushing the bowl off the edge and on the floor. I really would not recommend these bowls unless you would have washed them by hand. In that case, these bowls should be fine for you. With those wide bases Toby could not those the bowls over.

So far so good. Got a bunch of these for convenience when we got two kittens. Great value for the price just know that they are lightweight and small. They are holding up well.

Giving 1 star simply because after 1 wash in the dishwasher the black ink cat logo is smearing and running down the bowl. If water makes the paint and ink run that means my cats would be at risk of ingesting paint from the bowl. That cant be safe for my pets. Currently in the process of returning because I cant see this product as safe
