Works well
Works just as it says on the box- I have used this about 6 times In the first week and it’s so easy to use. My only negative comment would be that I had to glue the pad back on.

Works great
I've only used it one day but it worked exactly as I had hoped. I've picked up workers and drones but I can't help being nervous about accidentally crushing a queen so this is great for me.Not an issue but an observation, it does take a bit of effort and shaking to get the marker going the first time so it's probably best to get that ready before you catch your queen.

These queen marking cages are great. I don't have any issues with them. The markers however, you need to be careful with. The tips are very hard and to get the color to flow you have to apply a good amount of pressure and then the color just flows right out. The color is like water and FLOWS out fast immediately. My concern here is that if someone is not ready for this they may kill there queen. I expected the tip to be soft like a felt pen but that is not the case with these. They are very hard. Be careful when using these pens.

Works as intended
Arrived well, fast, and works as intended. Gel pen is a bit runny but that's good in this case. The foam cushion plunger of the marking case is lose, and easily fall out - that's ok, you just have to get used to it.

Ok product. Tricky to use as the stopper will fall out on its own if pressure isn’t held on it constantly. The white foam on stopper did fall off once.

Nice marker
Made my first queen marking easy! Paint flows out well and didnt require too much pressure.

Newbie Bee Keeper Marked our Queen EASILY with this gaget
Worked the first time I tried to mark our queen. Hard enough to find her as I'm a newbie. Worked great.

Pen doesn't work. Very expensive for something that doesn't work out of the package!
The pen is not made in the US, as it has Asian lettering all over it. It is a finer point than those I've used from beekeeping companies before, which is not helpful. But the worst part is that it just doesn't work. I've tried shaking it, warming it, wetting the tip, and more, and it won't work. Hope I can return it. Bad item, get your beekeeping gear from beekeeping businesses.
