I've used this toaster a total of over **3,000** times since buying it in April 2023, toasting Ezekiel bread 3+ times a day, every day since then. This humble toaster has outperformed ALL of my prior decades of fancy, cumbersome, feature-overloaded brand name toasters... giving me accurate and consistent edge-to-edge quality **every** time. It's an unassuming workhorse. The small and featherweight size of this toaster encourages cleaning out crumbs over the sink, and it 'hides' in your kitchen without desperately wanting to be a showpiece, haha. My favorite thing is that I never have to guess what 'mood' this toaster is in... it delivers the same results without any fussiness. My toaster is still going strong after 2-1/2 years, but if it ever were to fail, I'd undoubtedly spend another $14 to buy the exact same one again. BTW, I do (sometimes) put two bread slices into its single slot, which it accommodates while still being able to do the same great job.

I am not sure how to rate this. I give this a five star when it works but mine broke after a year. I purchased this toaster in December of 2024. It is very small and this is why I bought it. what I really like about it is that I can put it in a small plastic container to avoid getting crumbs everywhere and then put in my cupboard so that it doesn't have to sit on the counter. I live alone so all I need is a one slice toaster. I really like this it was the answer to a clean countertop. One time a few months ago I tried to cook a piece of toast and I pushed the lever down but it did not lock in place. I fiddled with the dial to increase the darkness of the toast setting and it worked. It worked for months and now months later it is doing the same thing. It won't stay down. I have to hold it down in order to toast. It is now February of 2026 so it only lasted a little over a year. I'm pretty disappointed but it's not like I'm out a lot of money. I am disappointed though but other than that I really like this toaster. I recommend it for somebody who wants something small. I did end up reordering it. UPDATE 3/2026 I ordered a new one of these but then my old one started working again. It dawned on me that maybe there isn't enough weight in the toaster because I cut my slice of bread in half when I toast it to lower the calories. I should have mentioned in my review that this toaster does cook a little unevenly but all I do I put it on for very small amount of time on a very low setting. It pops up then I turn the piece to toast around in a different direction so that it will toast more evenly. Yes this is a cheap toaster but I really like it and I'm glad I bought it.

Works fine. Not expensive

I really wanted to deal with the issues I've had with this toaster since I received it two weeks ago, but after a number of them, I've realized I can't. It sparking today when starting to toast, was the last straw. When I took it out of the box, the push down knob was off the Slider. It was extremely difficult to get that back on. At that time, I noticed that the sliding mechanism was no where near level, with the front sliding all the way to the bottom and the back still halfway up. More on this later. I did read that I should do a few toast cycles with nothing in there to burn off any residual smells. I did 2 of these, noticed smells on the first cycle but not the second. Then I tried to toast some bread. I had to be extremely gentle and intentional about the angle and pressure I used to push the Slider down. The front will go all the way to the bottom yet leaving the back end half way up, it won't lock so won't turn on. I figured out how to manipulate it to be more even and get the back end to lock, but this takes way more effort than should be required on a toaster. I like my toast pretty dark, so I placed it on the 4 setting. It came out black on one side of each piece, and a little darker than what I would consider a 4 out of 7 on the other side. I can only imagine that "toasting" on the 5-7 settings would give you the results of Sharon Weiss's ruined pumpkin pie from Marie Callender. My spouse could not get the toaster to evenly slide and lock. I had to attempt several times to assist. The knob fell off again. Today, when my spouse pushed the lever down, the toaster sparked. I am not in the mood to have marital arguments over a toaster that has been nothing but issues in the two weeks we've had it, so we are done with this toaster. Sadly, I wasted $15 after I scoffed at $50 toasters. I probably still won't buy one of those either, but I would have been pretty close to that purchase price had I not wasted the money on this one, considering I'm going to have to get another one that is a few dollars more now anyway. Buyer beware.

Love this tiny one piece toaster easy to clean food price

This toaster is definitely on the smaller side, which makes it great for tight spaces or small kitchens. However, it gets very hot while in use — hot enough that I can’t keep it under my cabinets because it lets off so much heat. Even on settings 2 or 3, my toast comes out burned, so it takes some trial and error to get it right. It does the job for basic toasting and the price is fair, but if I had the option, I’d probably spend a bit more for a better-quality budget toaster. It’s okay in a pinch, but not something I’d recommend for daily heavy use.

Small lightweight toaster I would NOT recommend. Not good control of setting to not burn toast or under toast. YUK.

Okay so I have been warned they don’t make toasters like they used to! Thankfully this toaster works! It’s wide enough for bagels! Toasts nicely. By that I mean both pieces come out looking the same toasted wise. Not an even toast but close enough for me! It does have an off gas you need to get rid of. So after pushing the toaster button down 9 times it has zero smell now . I was happy about that! Doesn’t take up a lot of counter room!

This toaster got 5 stars but the slot is nice and wide but it could be a bit longer. It works great for our solar off grid system! You couldn’t be too rough with it as it is a bit light. So far it does exactly what we need it too
