SR SuntourSP12 NCX Suspension Seatpost with Cover (31.6mm x 350mm)

This is a simple, adjustable shock absorber that replaces your stock seat post. I ride mostly on paved roads and trails, and this suspension seat post has helped to smooth out the cracks, seams, and potholes that are common in my area. I have an Evelo Atlas -- a fairly heavy e-bike -- and swapping out the stock seat post for this one made a huge difference in the ride quality. The tilt angle is adjustable on this as well, and that let me set the seat to fit me better than the stock post. There are several diameters available, so be sure to get the one that fits your bike. Highly recommended.

This amazing device, (SR Suntour SP12 NCX Suspension Seatpost with Cover), is just what I needed to eliminate the shocks from road bumps and pot holes from reaching my rear end. It's amazing how well it works.

I have a bad lower back and my new eBike doesn’t have any suspension, front or rear. So I did the research and decided to go with the Suntour NCX.So happy I did. My ride is so much smoother. Bump and cracks that I would swerve around to avoid impact on my back I now roll straight over, and my back barely feels a thing. The spring absorbs pretty much all the impact.Easy to install with the correct shim for my specific seat post inner diameter.By far the best accessory I’ve added to my new eBike. Well worth the cost…it’s a godsend!Seriously, if you have a lower back issues and feel the jar of every bump in the road, but this seat post. You won’t be sorry. Best purchase of 2021 for me…other than the actual eBike itself.

I really liked this but it did add several inches to the seat height which makes it a lot more difficult to get on and off the bike, also more difficult to pedal.

You can't go wrong with this. Once you get the suspension fined tuned according to your weight, you'll be riding without the normal butt fatigue. Just don't allow the suspension to bottom out.Follow the Instructions and you rear end will thank you! My Trek Verve +3 came with a suspension post, but not the quality this Suntour seat post.

It works well. I also have one of their higher priced competitors and this stacks decently against it. The only problem is I had to buy a heavy spring to accommodate my heavy bottom. That is another few dollars you have to spend to get it right for your body type. All in all, this works very well.

So, I would have to prepare for a bike ride by wearing specially padded panties and a sports bra in order go any distance on any path that wasn't perfectly smooth. After installing this seat post, I can go further, and so much more comfortably. And I barely feel it while riding over dirt, gravel, rock, divets, etc. It's a real game changer!

My Origin8 Amarok xlt weighed 35 lbs even before I started attaching other stuff to it. This is a heavy suspension seat post and I love it. I do not mind the extra weight at all. Having this (heavy) seat post makes me ride my bike more often, not less. I like that it is on the shorter side when it comes to travel, I do not want to be bouncing around too much up and down vertically on my seat.There is a forward and rear tilt click adjustment for seat tilt, my preferred tilt was between the clicks, my last seat post had infinite tilt adjustments.Would buy again for another bike. .
