Approximately 1inch. Won't fit traditional standard fluorescent light bulbs.

The t8 tube has a very thin wall and maybe about 1/8 inche less than the outer wall.

Q: what is the width of the tube?

1 inch 3/16 they will cover a 1 inch tube.

Q: How many sleeves come with this product? Is it really $18.99 for1 sleeve?

For some reason the red ones are really expensive. So it probably is 1 for $19. Look around. Maybe you can find a better price off site.Cheers!
