Would Not Recommend
Honestly, this book does not present the information clearly. I've tried to read the textbook to understand the topic covered in lecture, but the textbook is not as informative as others I've read. Other textbooks provide clear, worked out examples of common cases of problems. This textbook fails to provide any clear, worked-out examples, and leaves it as "an exercise for the reader" (what BS). Many of the definitions and vocabulary are briefly or ambiguosly defined. In addition, I have a terrible experience just ordering the textbook. Amazon had shipped me an original copy in a bubble-wrapped envelope, which arrived with a broken spine and binding. The replacement textbook was again placed in a bubble-wrap package, and arrived damaged, with a large dent in the front cover. Finally the last replacement was shipped in cardboard, which makes much more sense for a textbook this large and heavy. I was quite excited about this textbook, I really was, but was ultimately let down by the service, content, and actual product. Honestly there are much better texts out there on the subject, such as Chen's Signals and Systems . I would not recommend this textbook unless required for a course, but in that case go ahead and order another textbook or use your library for better material.

Used Book
Ordered and payed for a new book, but received a used book. Not in terrible condition, but there is tape holding the cover to the spine.

Good enough if you need it for class, but it's layout is confusing. It frequently takes concepts which are related and normally taught together and chops them up, spreading the throughout the book. Some of it's techniques and notation can also be unclear.
