A great mini laptop with a few flaws
This laptop is sturdy. It is made of almost the same aluminum material from MacBook Pros and actually has a little weight to it. The addition of the latest 8th gen m3 processor and a M.2 PCIE Solid State Drive makes booting and swapping applications fast. However, The processor now uses 3 watts more than its predecessor and the SSD is notorious for getting hot. Thankfully, I have felt and notice an even distribution of heat throughout the aluminum body and the fans are loud. This is a very good thing, especially if you're using this laptop on a heavy load. You want the heat to be evenly transferred from the internal components to the aluminum body.If you can get past the fan noise and how hot it gets then this is a good laptop with a fingerprint sensor. My only issue right now is some backlight bleeding I am seeing on the corner of the left side of the IPS panel. It's noticeable, but not enough to distract me. These devices actually have(in Chinese) Q.C. Passed stickers on them. So each and every one of them have been tested before it was boxed, however, I'm surprised that this minor backlight bleeding was considered acceptable.Lastly, the keyboard and optical mouse definitely takes time getting use to it. The keyboard is not backlit even though there is a symbol underneath the Esc button to enable it. Instead it functions as an ON/OFF switch for the fan.I also very happy that there are absolutely zero third party bloatware installed on my device and it was only one or two Windows updates behind; this saved me a lot of time. This laptop was a very good buy and I'm looking forward to whatever comes next for this series of devices.
