Saw Brake Cartiridge, 5-1/2" Length, 2" Width, 4" Height

Love my cabinet saw...had it for 15 years in my shop... had a powermatic 66 b4 the sawstop...... Sawstop is better! Motor is better....everything is better... ya ive set off the cartridge....use it...you will too.A finger save is worth millions.... dont let the other guys scare you off...Theres lots of commercial shops with these saws... They are worth every penny ❤

There are many environments, like schools, where not using a SawStop table saw is indefensible. I wouldn't want one for my home shop, but the system does work as well as they say. I activated one by accident, when I was cutting a groove into a hockey puck and forgot to disable the protection. I was glad that I wasn't stuck with the cost of the cartridge and the replacement blade, but the action was instantaneous. I was also glad that I had a spare cartridge, so that I could go on with the job, just a little wiser. If you have inexperienced or careless people working with the saw, or if it's in a space where you cannot be sure that someone isn't going to come in and use the tool without supervision, the lawsuit that this could save you makes it well worth the expense, not to mention saving some dope's finger.
