it was hard to assemble but good value and my grandchildren love it sturdy and will last a lifetime

When it arrived I assembled it and we had a couple of games. 2 adults, 2 young kids.The assembly was fine, taking maybe 20 minutes to make sure the pieces went as needed. Instructions were clear.I did note the bars looked a bit flimsy. One of the spindle bars looked to have one transversal line just after where the handles go, but thought not much of it.The 'wood' and bottom board were fine enough. The players bit like a lump of plastic, but fine for what it is. I'd be sure neither the wood nor the players would be an issue to stop a little fun.During our inaugural it went well, though we realised immediately its a set to use your feather hands on, even how tame we are.On our second game straight after. Not pushing or pulling and game didn't leave the ground, one of the bars snapped. On inspection, seemed like a break along a scored tile basically. Clean off. It broke on the transversal line mentioned.I tried to patch it putting a bamboo dowel inside the hollow spindles which took an hour to find exact measure. Then tapped it over so the 2 sides wouldn't just slide off. We had another couple of games, and the patch did work.However, the bars are just not strong enough. They will no doubt bend and eventually snap. If I wanted to do work, with this set a promised to have to continually patched up, I've build a small set myself from scratch rather than purchasing something.On that premise, I dismantled everything, down to the patch, clearing any gum from the tape. Packaged it as best I could similar how it came and returned it!Just not worth a purchase at any money - bot to talk about the grief of having to take it away from the kids.

A quality little table which will be great fun when my nephew visits!

I didnt expect much from this little table to be honest. For under £30 I expected something that would likely see us through to the end of our few weeks stuck at home but I was much surprised. Truely value for money and expect this to last for a good while. Only slight criticism is that the goal entry could have been finished with a slightly better edging, maybe with a plastic trim. Theyve otherwise done a good job.

it's not wood - that's a lie - its mdf covered in a thin plastic/vinyl like coating - but not as good as melamine. The rubber tube ends are flimsy and a choking hazard to young children. The poles are hollow aluminium tubes that are easily bent during assembly. The frame has glue trails from the manufacture process and scuffs of the plastic coating on the 'wood'. the base playing surface is very thin board. All in al the description is false. 'Thanks to the high-quality wood,' is simply misleading and false advertising to the extent of criminal. There are two balls which are quite good and can be induced to spin. The handles are push on and seem firm and solid. the scoreboards are made of a hard but light plastic - the kind that goes brittle. beware the little peg snapping when trying to fix onto the mdf frame. Not a quality fixing. The best bit of the description - worthy of note and only visible when I re read it after delivery is "This is a gift, not designed as or for use as an actual toy" well that sums it up it's not fit for use by children as it will break in no time I'm sure. Do i send it back - i spent ages assembling it - a lack of any instructions didn't help, nor does it say in the description - requires assembly, yes its cheap, its fun but its not going to last, it's not quality by any standard. made in china. Do i feel like i over paid for what it is - definately. would i recommend it - only if your eyes are wide open to the false description in the advert. I'm torn as to whether to send it back - had it been correctly described as what it is and been what it is then i wouldn't feel cheated, so sending it back is borderline for me. it is a cheap table that for one or two Friday evening knockabout with the family on lockdown take out night it will probably do, but i still feel a bit cheated.. I hate o give bad reviews and generally I dont I just return the product but in this case I think the description is so misleading it needs to be properly identified and called out.

Have ordered this item twice, and each time the box had been severely damaged . The first delivery I refused to accept as it was so damaged and was not contained in any Amazon protective box. I obtained a refund, ordered a second, and this time it had been put inside an Amazon cardboard box but when I opened it today, the box inside was again severely damaged and had again been sellotaped roughly together. When I opened the box, it only contained the side, bottom and end pieces of the table. No legs, no players or bars, no balls, no fixings, no goal counters and no instructions. Absolutely disgraceful.

Not happy with the quality. Just opened the pack and disappointed. I want to return but my kids have been waiting for long. Its the birthday present so she is eager to build the thing and want to play.. otherwise I would have rather returned.

Mes enfants on étaient très content de recevoir ce babyfoot, conforme a la description, vraiment pas déçu, je recommande, et en plus le prix est résonnable!

... die Kinder mögen es und spielen gern und oft damit, aber die Qualität ist doch recht schlecht. In all unseren metall-stangen stecken inzwischen Holz-Stäbe zur Verstärkung und die (von Fabrik aus geklammerten) Seiten sind alle jetzt geleimt / geschraubt.dem spielspass tut es keinen Abbruch, aber wer will schon ständig nachmontieren?
