Bought in a pinch - they're OK
I've used others that seem to work better, but I was out and needed some fast. They did the trick - just not as good as other brands I've used

Worked well on my boat project.
I had been using standard butt splice connectors and heat shrink tubing on my boat project. In order to save time and energy, I decided to use these connectors instead. I should have used these from the beginning.

They are suitable for indoor use no doubt but haven't seen one out in the weather long enough to comment on the longevity of the seals. Very easy to use!

Good stuff
They work as they should, easy to crimp, handle heat well and even have the cool waterproof glue/gel stuff. Probably just what you need for your 8 awg needs.
