Bella Pro Series 3.0 Editing Keyboard for Avid Media Composer, with USB Ports, for Mac & Windows.

First of all, the photo on the Amazon page is not the right photo - it shows all black keys! The seller seems to be aware of this, but it is still up there. I went to the B&H Photo wesite to get a look at the keyboard on their site - turns out that is also not the right version of the product, but more accurate. The color keycaps for Avid seem to be made for idiots. Not only does each key have the icon for the Media composer function, it also has the name of the function spelled out. This would be a good keyboard to train someone on who is learning how to use Avid, but for an experienced user, it's maddening - everyting on each key has to be much smaller, which creates a very busy, crowded looking keyboard. I imagine I am going to get used to it. (I have since gone to the Bella website and saw an accurate picture of the keyboard. I suppose the one on the B&H page was from an earlier, better model.) The little goose-neck light that came with it did not stay on very well and actually stopped working the day after I set up the keyboard. To their credit, the seller offered to replace it for free, but it is definitely cheaply made and I did not care about the light anyway, so I told them not to bother. I like the buttons above the toggle wheel that will expand and contract the timeline and I am very happy to have a full keyboard again after so long using the partial one that came with my Imac. But so far, I have not been able to get the delete key to work. Working around it with the back space key for now. I'm happy to have an Avid keyboard, i just wish it was a better one.

I saw a review that said the keyboard was not like the image shown on the advertising. I beg the differ, the keyboard is just like the advertising. I love it. One downside is the light is cheap. However, the color coded keyboard is great. This keyboard is great and worth the money. David Irvin Huckabuck Media
