I bought this to keep my hot mulled wine hot for Thanksgiving (I wanted to make it the night before so it'd be ready all day the following day). I'd read some conflicting review about whether this would keep the liquid hot enough to be safe for consumption the next day, but I thought I'd try it out.I did a test run with hot water first.Sunday, 11 am: Put just-boiled water into the air pot, filled to the topSunday, 10 pm: Tested water. Too hot to touch!Monday, 9 am: Tested water again. Still too hot to touch! (Nearly 24 hrs later, mind you.)Monday, 2 pm: Tested water again. Still very hot; could barely touch it.Monday, 4 pm: Tested water again. Still very hot; could barely touch it.At this point I stopped testing. This pot kept water very hot (i.e., hot enough to brew tea) for almost 30 hrs by the time I stopped tracking it.I made hot mulled wine on Wed night, and it was hot all day Thursday for Thanksgiving (until it ran out!). I did pour in about a cup of hot water (them emptied it) immediately before putting the wine in. That step was probably unnecessary, but not a bad idea all the same.Long story short: A fantastic air pot!

We purchased a different brand and then returned it to a local department store because the rubber seal that sits under a twist-on cap was distorted and wouldn't seal properly. It looked like a design problem, not a quality control problem, so we felt another of the same model would probably fail in the same way. That's when we went searching on Amazon for a better one.The Zojirushi is simplicity itself. There's a pop-up handle in the lid that you push down to force the coffee out and into the cup. It's very easy to modulate the force and regulate the flow of coffee. The lid closes down without turning, so no chance of distorting a seal. We brew our coffee using the 10-cup measure on our carafe and the Zojirusho easily holds this amount. It maintains the temperature of the coffee longer than our old metal coffee carafe and we find later in the day it's still fairly warm with little or no touch-up needed in the microwave. It also has a built-in swivel base base -- nice touch -- that allows the entire unit to turn in whatever direction is needed to dispense coffee without re-positioning the whole unit. On the whole it seems to be a well thought-out design.We noticed that the local breakfast and lunch coffee shop uses the same model. If it's good enough for them to use for their customers, it's good enough for us.

I make coffee for the folks at work because the coffee in themachines is nasty. It tastes like it's cut with barn clutter.We got a surplus cabinet and I put this Zojirushi airpot into it. Asian friends always seem to have one in their kitchens and the liquid pumped out always looked quite hot even though they filled the airpot the evening before. They said, "Look for the airpot that has the elephant logo." I did. I bought one from Amazon and it was here in two days. We couldn't be happier.------------------------------------------------------------Some hints to keep the coffee hottest: Fill airpot with water just under boiling temp to preheat while you are brewing. Get a Pyrex microwaveable 2 qt. measuring cup. Microwave your coffee to just under boiling and pour into pre-heated airpot. This will keep your coffee steaming all night. Do not heat your coffee in a pan on the stove. You'll get a bitter burnt taste. Microwaving in glass doesn't have that disadvantage.---------------------------------------------------------We had to use an airpot because hot plates on coffee brewers are not allowed in our workspaces. The airpot was the perfect solution. Don't buy an inferior airpot from another company. Most are only rated 4 hours. This lasts all night.The 2 litre container holds 18 cups of coffee. I may have to get a bigger airpot because good coffee goes fast.----------------------------------------------------------Coffee: Be picky about your coffee. The longer coffee sits in any container gives it time to get bitter. Avoid any coffee with a hint of bitterness. It will only tend to get more bitter. I've tried several brands and have discarded many for bitterness. Don Francisco Columbian is good with a medium price. Stater Brothers Columbian has been pretty popular, and many specialty Arabicas taste pretty clean. Listen to your co-workers comments about thecoffee you brewed that particular day. Make note.------------------------------------------------------------Warning: Airpot will leak if tipped. It is not leakproof. Whentransporting by car, make sure airpot is well blocked-in to prevent tipping. Keep it upright!

We're using my Zojiurshi AASB-22SB Primer Air Pot 74 Ounce Beverage Dispenser in a home environment. The Air Pot is just as fine a product as it advertised. We're particularly impressed with the thermos capability - beverages are kept at hot or cold temperatures for at least 24 hours. My only fuss is removing the top for cleaning. It has to be raised to a 55 degree angle to remove it, and that is a hit-or-miss function for us.

I have a travel container for coffee from this company and love it so much that I picked this up for when I have company and want to have coffee available instead of keeping a pot on a burner and having the coffee maker turn off after a couple of hours.It holds a full pot of coffee (12 cups) and keeps it hot all day. It is also super easy to clean (I have a long handled round brush I use). The unit has a built in lazy-susan on the bottom that lets you easily rotate it around as needed. Great product!

Like this product. Water can keep warm for a long time.

We have been using these glass thermoses for years! They are great to bring with you on a road trips and have a cup of hot drink anywhere you want. They hold water hot the whole day. This model is very user friendly because it has a handy pump which makes it easier to pump water out. Glad these are still being made as this is a very old tecnology and it is more superior to stainless steel models. The only difference between the two, you cant throw glass one around, you need to be careful not to break the internal glass. Will be buying these as long as they are made.

Product arrived pretty quick. Packaging was good. The matte black actually looks kinda good. Slight plasticky feel and the inner tube is plastic which I’m very unpleasantly surprised coming from an established brand.

A great Butler. We had one previously and it lasted a long time. The pump for pumping out the delicious coffee wore out. It was fabulous for Family suppers and celebrations and barbeques.
