Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300i Portable Color Duplex Document Scanner for Mac and PC (Renewed)

Fujitsu make a great scanner. However their new program app only work with windows 10 and above. A little bit slow but do the job well. I have to buy this because I have an old home computer on Windows 8.0 and this once work just fine with the older program. I had tried to buy a newer ScanSnap too Bad they only work with WIndows 10

The operating system would not sink with my Microsoft laptop. Couldn’t even test the product for that reason.

We have purchased the higher end model of the ScanSnap and found them to be excellent machines. When we needed a smaller, less robust scanner, we purchased this. It performs so well, it's hard to tell it isn't the higher end model. The ease of use of the teachers, the speed, the double-sided scanning are all features that make this the scanner to buy!

It arrived today with a significant crack in the cover. sigh. Perhaps it is fine, but not too happy about that.

I've had this scanner for almost 10 years and it is by far the most convenient scanner I've ever used! Because it is small and compact, it can sit right on the desk, available for use instantly. I have the "big" scanner and it works well. But honestly, I hardly use it because this little guy is literally right at hand and does a quick job of any scanning task that I need! Plus it scans duplex!!! My HP sure as heck doesn't do that! In fact, that's why I took it out of my office closet and set it up again. I had a lot of duplex scanning and my bigger scanner can't manage it. But my ScanSnap does. In fact, I found this product on Amazon because I have a friend who wants to start to scan her photos and her legal papers. I thought that I would try to find a product that I'm already familiar with so that I can support her in setting it up and operating it. And look at this - Amazon has it!! I am planning on buying this one for her! How's that for a recommendation??

The roller refused to move paper, although it made plenty of noise. Unable to scan anything as a result.

Stavo per restituirlo per un problema con la scansione . La la pronta assistenza del venditore mi ha risolto il problema ... mi ha inviato un video con le istruzioni per pulire il sensore : Problema Risolto !!!! Che dire : ottima assistenza. Il prodotto e' ottimo : veloce anche con scansioni su due lati !!! Io lo utilizzo con un Macpro e OSX Monterey ( ultimo sistema operativo perMac ). Perfettamente integrato con Vuescan Standard. Consigliato !!!

Funciona bien. Dispongo de W10 y al ir a descargar el software de la marca, me encuentro con que es un modelo algo antiguo y no tiene ni tendrá soporte para W11. No lo he probado con este sistema, pero igual funciona, solo que con el software genérico del propio Windows 11. En mi ordenador con W10 funciona genial, eso si. Edito: En las fotos y descripción, hay veces que sale el modelo s1300i. Aclarar nada más, que yo recibí el s1300. Despues de haberle dado un uso más intenso, paso a detallar: Es reacondicionado, como bien pone en la descripción. Aunque no está mal, se le nota que no es nuevo. Es posible conectarlo a la red eléctrica, o al USB del ordenador, con lo que se necesitarían 2 cables usb, uno para alimentación eléctrica y otro para datos, que en principio, vienen de origen, tanto los dos cables como el enchufe a la red. Dicen que alimentándolo con USB va más lento. Yo no lo puedo probar porque NO me viene el cable para alimentarlo por USB. Durante años he venido utilizando scaner Canon imageformula. El último que use fue un 215ii. En comparación, este es más gordote, pero también tiene un mejor alimentador automático de hojas, algo de lo que pecaba Canon. Eso si, el Canon, con un solo cable USB, bastaba para alimentación eléctrica y datos. Logicamente también venía con un cable para enchufarlo a la red convencional. En cuanto al escaneado, son bastante similares. El software de fujitsu, como dije antes, se queda en w10, su funcionamiento es muy correcto y ya no va a haber más soporte. Pero sin embargo, en la caja, viene una tarjetita en italiano, que viene a decir que descargues VueScan, que se trata de un software independiente, que si tiene drivers para w11 y más sistemas. Con el único inconveniente que es de pago, si bien se puede usar gratis, pero entonces, todo lo que escanees vendrá con una molesta y bien grande marca de agua. Lo he probado y es bastante correcto, sencillo y fácil de utilizar también.

Ho acquistato questo scanner revisionato e classificato da Amazon "In ottime condizioni". Peccato però che nonostante ho installato il driver sul pc scaricandolo direttamente dal sito di Fujitsu Italia, dopo vari tentativi di accensione, solo una volta lo scanner si è acceso ma non ha funzionato; probabilmente perché non si è collegato al driver installato sul pc. Dico questo perché il pc non riconosceva la presenza dello scanner collegato tramite usb. Nel pacco ricevuto manca il libretto di istruzioni che forse mi avrebbe aiutato a risolvere o aggirare il problema. Ho subito attivato la procedura di reso a domicilio. A parte questo problema di resi facilmente risolvibile in casa Amazon, ad osservarlo dal vivo e a maneggiarlo, infonde la sensazione di un classico plasticone veramente di scarsa robustezza. Certamente non adatto per l'uso anche portatile all'interno della borsa pc, che viene reclamizzato.
