They need to secure the cap tightly so it doesn't open during shipping. You can use it after bathing or however you like. It's for babies, but anyone who likes this scent can use it. i love the fragrance smells really good. and the scent stays long all day on my clothes. however , i'm giving this a 4 star because-----this came in a box wrapped in a plastic and as i open the box i can smell the cologne already! it was leaking, i hope the bottle is sealed.
