A Great Product
I bought the DB2 to replace a 3 year old tracker in my vehicle. The older one was cheaper and the associated web site dissapeared a few weeks after purchase meaning I could only locate the vehicle by sending a text and receiving a position. This tracker is so much better due to the associated web software that works very well on my phone, Chrome book, and PC.Simple installation: The tracker is small and it was easy to find a couple terminals in the fuse box and on the bulkhead to attach the two terminals. I stuck the unit onto another item inside the engine bay where it is hidden but looks OEM. For satellite signals it works perfectly and the tracking data is really good. I can now tag any journey and partial journeys to business or private and it makes adding my monthly mileage so easy for the accountant. The detail on the map when I look at where I am parked is very detailed - probably the best map detail I have seen. And there is a link to google find the best route back to the vehicle which is great if you are visiting a city and not sure of the best way back - or have lost your vehicle in the NEC car parks. As for monthly costs it is now a little cheaper for me. The old tracker SIM was a GiffGaff one that I paid £6.00 a month. The DB" tracker cost £5.00 a month for so much more from the web pages.I rarely give feedback but I am very happy with this purchase.

DB2 from Rewire security - Good value and excellent product - Peace of Mind!
Easy instructions to follow, register account before fitting, two wires to connect on this product - Could it be any simpler? Received product within the day and fitted it immediately on arrival. Had been thinking for some time about fitting a tracker and after a spate of thefts locally my mind was made up. Loads of alternatives on the market. Value and simplicity sold this one to me. It is installed on my campervan leisure batteries for my convenience - downside of that is when the batteries are charging it registers that the ignition is on and can't tell when the ignition is actually on. Not a problem for me easy fix wire to vehicle battery if I was concerned, I'm not. I knew of this before purchase and the DB1 addresses this "issue" with a seperate ignition feed. DB1 also has a couple more features but for the additional cost I the DB2 was more than sufficient for the task for me. There is an ongoing subscrition charge to keep it alive but they all do somehow. Phone app is simple and you can set the level of alerts you want/need. Online app has extra information that can be illuminating for you - fun to browse! Vehicle battery and units backup battery are useful to check on. Because I've got mine hooked to the leisure batteries I get to know what my state of charge on those from my computer are albeit it basic voltage. Historical logs are easy to access and read. All round great buy for me.

Good little tracker
So we have a van which we decided needed a tracker. There are a lot of cheap versions which have some features but wanted something a bit more substantial and UK based. Thus the DB2.The ease to install....yes has 2 clips you can connect directly to the battery. However no indication of any fuse which I would expect with any 12v device. Just personally I like that extra peace of mind that the device isn't going to overheat and burn. It has a built in battery so if it disconnects it can continue to monitor for a short while.Set up is easy. scan the barcode on the app and voila. You get like a 2 week trial for free.Yes it works out £5 per month but the minimum i could see to buy was 3 months. Not sure where the 1 month is.Next up is the configuration. You can do some via the app and you can monitor but if you want to do any zones or clever alarms you have to use the web page on a desktop PC.Now the caveat in relation to the no hidden costs.Web notifications are free via the app.You have up to 150 emails a month. (not sure why the limit as emails are free if you have a mail server)SMS - you get none with the plan. if you want text messages with you alerts that is extra. £12.50 for 50. That works out 25p per text which in this day and age is rather expensive. So far like the device and the app and the web page work well.Am not against the company but have dropped the one star for limited emails and no sms at all with the subscription.

Cheap and easy to install and activate. Subscription about £8 per month tho
Db2 tracker was very easy to install and activate with notifications onto my phone of any activity such as ignition, vibration etc being sent to my phone.Recently at the supermarket someone tested to see if the bike had its steering lock applied after bumping the bike several times. I watched it happen as I was out the shop already. Very impressed so far. Won't leave the disk lock off through laziness again tho! Lesson learned. The subscription is about £8 paid monthly and I paid £39 for 6 months. As well as messaging alerts there is an app which shows location, status and route maps etc.Installation was easy and getting set up was also quick and easy as well.
