Calming clippers
My Grandson has Autism and hated his hair cut. So his mum found these which we ordered. He now lets his mum cut his hair. No crying, nothing. The noise from what I have been told is that low it does not bother him. They seemed to me to be sturdy and well made and came with accessories and a carry bag. So if these help my Grandson then the money was well spent for him. I would definitely recommend these for anyone with children that struggle to have their hair done.

Amazing! Thank you
My son has autism & will not get his hair cut. We have had hairdressers & barbers refuse to even go near him as he is so distressed. Since then myself & his Grannie usually cut wee bits of here & there when his mind is on something else. I seen the calming clippers on Facebook the other day & didn't hesitate to order them as to be honest I'd try anything. Well they arrived today & I wasn't disappointed! Yes it wasn't plain sailing & it took me two attempts to get all his hair cut, as he hates the hair falling on him & doesn't really like you to touch his hair. It really was stress free for me & my son coped really well too. The calming clippers them self are really easy to use & give a lovely even haircut allover, which is usually impossible for me to get.. so the reason my son usually has long hair until today he has a lovely grade 3 allover & looks like a proper wee boy. Thank you

Your fingers will get sore and cause blisters/go numb if you’re not used to scissors.
Amazing product, was able to cut my son’s hair evenly with the guards not allowing you to cut too short. It’s obviously not 100% like a hair dressers or barbers standard but it looks incredible! Be careful though.. if you are not used to using scissors then your hands will get sore and for some reason my 1st finger on my right hand IS completely numb. So I assume I’ve trapped a nerve. But it is an incredible result considering my son does not tolerate haircuts or clippers. He managed these so much better! And he has crazy thick hair too. So it did get the job done!! Absolute life saving kit!

Good product, would recommend
Really innovative idea. Nothing at all wrong with the product but takes a while to get used to it. Watched video demo which made it look so easy but with a fidgety child a lot more difficult than I expected. My little man has Down's and severe Autism. He has got use to me cutting his hair with scissors in the bath (little bit each day) over a few days. When he saw the blue attachment on the clipper he immediately became suspicious and reluctant to keep still. Took two attempts over 2 days to cut his hair , finishing off with normal scissors for top and behind ears. Looks neater than just scissors. I think it will be easier and will have better results when little man (and I) get used to the Calming Clippers. Need to remember to put your fingers in the opposite side of holes than you would normally hold scissors. Thumb at bottom and finger/s at top. cut upwards against the direction of hair growth. Buy and try!

Amazing!
I have just finished cutting my son's hair for the first time using the Calming Clippers and I can't believe how user friendly and easy it was. Our 9 year old boy grew petrified of having his hair cut at the barbers- whether it was with the machine or the scissors. The whole event was becoming traumatic for him. As he is pre verbal autistic he expressed his upset through hitting himself, screaming and lashing out at others. BUT NOT TODAY!!!!! Calming Clippers- this is some kind of wizardry. I can't thank you enough. Amazing product. And then I watched your video on how the product is made and oh my goodness- I am so moved. Thank you! Dervla, A very happy mother!!

Autistic child
So happy I went and ordered this product my son always hated getting his hair cut and it got so much worse with age (7/8) ended up with 3 of us having to hold him down at the kids haircut place we went to I’ve been trying everything silent razers (that are never silent) songs and images letting him know where we are going beforehand nothing worked and it just got so bad I couldn’t do it anymore. I finally saw this product and was a bit sceptical to begin with and also the price made me think just because i bought stuff previously and it never worked. This product has completely changed the experience for us I use it in the shower with him so the hair can be washed off him straight away and because I’m not a professional barbers the different attachments are so helpful so I don’t scalp him! I’m still in the learning phase with him and haven’t moved from a blade five attachment because I’m building trust with him before trying different blades for different sections and we are working on getting by his ears and the back of his head slowly I’m not saying he likes it but we count to sixty and I get as much done in that time as I possibly can once a week and he can tolerate it a lot more then the hairdresser setting I will never bring him back to a barbershop again and put him through that distress and trauma.

Very good
I loves these having a autistic son hair cuts was anit of a nightmare so with these it took the sound away which he didn’t like so now with no sound and all the different lengths and much safer when using scissors as there is no pointy sharp parts quality is nice and solid. Is it expensive YES is it worth it YES
