I had the genius idea of using these to power my Dashcam. I purchased a 12v DC to 5v DC USB adapter and ran the cable from the Dashcam up into the space above the Rear View Mirror (where the interior lights, switches sunroof controls etc. are). Then, using a multimeter, I found a power & ground cable that only power on with the ignition. Connected the cables using a couple of these Splicers and connected the Dashcam's USB to the socket. Works perfectly! Will upload photos and maybe an instructional video at a later date if I can add them to this post.

utilisation dans des conditions difficiles d'accès ou d'impossibilité de branchements avec des fils trop courts. très efficace et facile à fixer. néanmoins, les diamètres des fils à associés restent d'une section petite. Ne convient pas à des fils électriques de section supérieure à 2,5 mm2.

Ich wollte nur „mal eben“ ein paar Kabel anschließen, aber dank dieser kleinen Wunderklemmen fühlte ich mich plötzlich wie der Chuck Norris der Elektroinstallation. 💪⚡️ Kein Löten, kein Fluchen – einfach reindrücken, zuklappen, fertig. Sogar meine Strom-allergische Schwiegermutter hätte das hinbekommen (wenn ich sie an Strom ranlassen würde – was ich nicht tue, aus gutem Grund). Die Abzweigverbinder haben meine wilde Kabelsammlung gezähmt wie ein Tierbändiger auf Red Bull. Kurz gesagt: Diese Teile verbinden nicht nur Kabel, sondern auch Herzen. ❤️🔌
