Great little aid for anyone with difficulties getting in and out of cars.

A good product for assisting my elderly disabled mother out of the car - less use for getting in, but great to help her pull herself out of the car to save my back. Fits easily through the window and easy to remove when not needed. I needed to play with the positioning as it's easy for it to obscure the wing mirror, but a bit of twiddling and tweaking has found us the right spot to fit it. Good product.

Although useful for using on entry the fact it keeps hanging and swinging is distracting. Maybe too much faff to keep removing it.

This is such a help! I struggle at times to get out of vehicles and the strap gives me a strong stable hand 'up' Certainly worth the purchase The strap is material which can easily be wiped clean, very easy to install/use. I would purchase again

Not really the best product for helping you out of the car- you must have a frame around your windows for a start- not all cars have. It moves when it is strapped to a frame. Plus once you open the door you cannot reach it until you get out. Holding on to something hanging from the door whilst trying to open it is dangerous. We found attaching to the handle in the roof of the car is much more useful. But I wouldn't buy it again.

My husband bought me a new car but it has no handles at the top that I find useful getting in and out of the lower to the ground cars. The beauty of this is that I can take it with me and use it on any car I travel in. It has particularly been a help when my husband insists on taking a bend like he is on a race track. He thinks he is going slow but the bruises on my shoulder over the years are testament to the fact that my shoulder is hitting the door due to his speed. At least now if the door flies open I can save myself with this handle. When in the back of a car you have to find just the right position to aide your getting out as the doors often do not open as wide as the front doors do. But at least I do not have to wait while he faffs about before getting around to opening my door and helping me out. A real benefit and worth every penny. In fact I recently bought another one just in case I lose the first one or one of my 7 sisters pinches it. It would be useful to have this for around the house but it would need some adaption to do that. I recently bought a metal stand with handles that goes under the settee cushion to help you get up from our low sofas for which I paid £120 pounds - it is about as useful an aide as my cat would be. I am now wondering if my husband could rig up some metal stand that I could hook this over to get off the settee.

Really bad ! Broke when used first time . Buckle doesn’t hold , it’s a very flimsy product , completely useless .

The information provided does not tell you that you have to attach and remove EVERY time that you wish to use it. It does the job that it says it will do and that is very helpful. However, you cannot leave it in place and expect it to be in the same condition as you left it. I thought that this would be so useful for both my wife and myself that I bought another. I should have waited until next morning as when I opened the door to my Nissan Qashqai and grabbed the item to help lower into drivers set, I was absolutely soaked through and water was dripping from it on to the drivers seat which was also soaking wet. Tried the one that I bought for my wife on the passenger side and if anything it was even worse - totally saturated and so was her seat for the next 3 days before both front seats dried out enough for us to able to use the car again. Good idea if you live in a desert but NOT in the UK. Both items are now residing at the bottom of my waste bin.
