Perfect companion for phones without a Headphone jack
So you just got your new expensive phone but it doesn't have a headphone jack? No problem this little nifty device got you covered. Also if you already have a earphone and don't want to purchase a bluetooth earphone/headphone then this is a perfect device. Pros - 1. Build quality - It's made of metal and the size is also small to fit inside pockets. 2. Supports aptX LL - By using this tech there is no lag in sound while playing PUBG/CODM. Yay! 3. USB Dac - You can use it as a sound card for your laptop. My laptop's 3.5mm jack stopped functioning and Now i just use this for a better quality audio. 4. It's a future investment - If you purchase a better headphone/earphone then you can be assured that this little baby will be able to power it up. 5. It's USB C - Yay! one less cable to carry around. Also it has NFC to quickly pair with a new device. 6. Sound quality - Almost forgot about this one. Yes it has good sound quality. You'll be able to hear a more detailed audio. Cons - 1. I am just nitpicking but the battery life could be improved even further. 2. Is a bit pricey but compared to the prices of good bluetooth earphones it's cheaper to get this and use your old earphones. So in conclusion add it to your wishlist and when there is a discount just buy this little boi.

Best Bluetooth/USB sound adapter review
Just go for it if you are looking at bluetooth headset for upto INR 15k. No competition here!!!! This Smokes them all! Battery - upto 6 hours, tested! Audio quality - depends on the headphone you use! This is just an amplifier for Bluetooth/USB. Amazing with any phone that have Snapdragon 600 series and above chip (average with Kirin and Mediatek). Using as a USB DAC, it sounds much better than motherboard built in Realtek audio. I use this with the cheapo JBL C100SI (which is much better than Sen CX180). Compared to Skullcandy Indy TW vs AirPods vs Sennheiser CX 6.00BT/7.00BT vs Skullcandy Method Wireless, the BTR1K smokes them all. If you are an iPhone user (tested on iP XS), get the AirPod instead, Apple cripples intentionally to ensure people stick to Apple products. All the mentioned above sucks on Apple, except for the AirPods - volume, audio quality: Fidelity, bass, mids & treble. Note: This device "forced" increased soundstage (eg., in Android music player, there is an option among equalizer to increase stereo/3D expansion) because of which there is a slight increase in treble harshness and decrease in fidelity (the solidness/crispiness/clarity whatever you called). But this happens only if you play low quality files - like those super compressed ones, or YouTube converted ones. If you play proper CD ripped files - 192/224/320 Kbps 41KHz etc., it's amazing, no degradation in audio quality. Also, once you tweaked in equalizer to you liking, this things is simply amazing, nothing came close in this price range, just get it!

Surprising Tiny
Somehow I expected it to be the size of a finger and at least 2 fingers wide, it was surprisingly small, like a medium-sized Staedler eraser. Quite light-weight too. After a day of usage, here are my experiential notes: 1) Connected with Asus and One Plus phones and Lenovo laptop quickly enough. Twice it had a small glitch - on the very first connection with the One Plus and laptop, the audio was barely audible (with full volume on the devices as well as the BTR1K). After manually disconnecting and connecting again, the volume came back to normal. Not sure what happened, but it seemed to have happened only on the very first connection with the phone/laptop. Hope this does not happen again. 2) It connects nicely with the aptX connection. Both the laptop and the phone show the charge available in BTR1K, which is awesome. 3) Sound quality is great, though I have only tried it with my collection on SoundCloud. When connected with a laptop via USB, I was able to use it as an external sound cloud, which was awesome too. Whether through bluetooth or a USB connection, the BTR1K appears both as a sound output (speaker) and sound input (microphone) device). I think I am going to find it quite useful for my tele-conferences! 4) Its a tiny device, and I don't see it being able to drive my current Senn HD600 so well (they sound somewhat muted). Though I haven't tried it yet, I am sure ATH M50X will be easy to drive for this. 5) It has ZERO screws, which is nice aesthetically, but I would have liked to see some, to be satisfied I have access to the built-in battery when I need to change it (if I find a spare for that, that is). 6) It has a clip at the back, which works well on shirts. But the gap in the clip is just about an inch, so it doesn't hold on to the wider Senn HD600 metal band, and keeps slipping out. I would have liked it to be fixed on my headphone, rather than hang on my shirt, just makes the headphone extremely portable, and perhaps make it look like a geeky contraption too! Its a pretty little device, and quite functional too. Even though I got it for a discount, I don't think it still justifies the price. I guess the manufacturer has to make some money in trend of newer phones removing 3.5mm jacks. All in all, a good product and worth buying, if you have a good pair of wired headphones and want to make them compatible with newer phones.

OK product but not recommend for high-end devices.
I was very sceptical before purchasing this product, but I purchased it anyway. And at the end I was quite disappointed with my decision. So let’s get straight to the point •DAC REVIEW:- The difference with and without using BTR1K as DAC (via USB) is almost negligible approximately 5-10% of improvement. It lowers the bass output to give an illusion of having improved clarity, and is good only for people who listen at high volume all the time. It made my E10C sound too tiny while listening at lower volume, tried apple earpods too. Only difference I was able to notice was when I was listening through E10C at full blast. By using FiiO BTR1K I was getting slightly clear vocals at max volume. But improvement was not drastic to justify the price. •AMPLIFIER REVIEW:- Now talking about Amplifier, I was able to drive E10C on my iPhone without using this, at first I thought it won’t be able to drive 45 ohm earphones, but that’s not the case with iPhones. After using BTR1K as amplifier, again the same story happend ( it cuts the bass) and this time there wasn’t even difference in vocals, like I mentioned for DAC. Perhaps this is because the hardware I use already have pretty good DAC. I used it as DAC for my Dell Inspiron Laptop (7560 to be specific) and was using as Amplifier for iPhone 6s. And I want to suggest to all the iPhone user to not purchase this product, if you’re expecting drastic improvement. And you need to have fairly sensitive ears to notice the difference that I mentioned. Only feature I was surprised with was its Bluetooth, iPhone doesn’t support AptX but still lag was no lag whatsoever. But since I was not happy with its DAC & Amplifier now I think I should have gone for uBTR. But matter became worse when it suddenly turned off and was not turning ON. I was worried, then I plugged it on charger, then it got revived after few minutes (for the record battery was not an issue, Battery was approximately at 80% when this happened). After revival again it turned off abruptly. So, I was again disappointment by it and started worrying about its long term reliability. Maybe I got defective product. But still when it worked I think it’s not still not worthy for people who already have high-end devices like iPhones and Dell Inspiron series Laptops. I purchased this for 3690₹ and my review is based on the value proposition for this price. In short: not for people who already have high end devices, if you need drastic improvement go for more expensive ones. So, I finally returned it. End Of review •AMAZON & SELLER Review:- I am very happy with the service provided by seller and Amazon refund was almost instant within one hour of return the refund came to my Account.

Ezpensive but good, with some minor glitches
Very expensive for what it does, its just a bluetooth receiver with a builtin battery. A user-changeable AAA battery design would have been perfect, but these manufacturers want us to buy new when battery eventually dies out, thus continuing their business. The unit is temperamental too, hangs sometimes, and with no screen and no indication, it gets frustrating. Long press to reset in such times is a bit of a hit-and-miss. Have no issues with sound quality, and builtin mic works great too.

Buying this was my BAD Descision
Pros : Audio quality is the only best feature in this, Cons : Eevrything else, 1. During Skype/Teams/etc meetings device stops working after a few minutes, 2. if you seek youtube video for 3 - 4 time forward or backward, this device stops working, 3. When connected as USB DAC, Windows detects this as a microphone with Audio Device, but Microphone doesn't work. 5. This doesn't work with any of the Fiio's own Application, hence you cant control anything of this device. 4. Worst part, when contacted Fiio for the same, Fiio responded that there is no Firmware update, and upon checking, this product has been removed from their website on the date of posting this review,

perfect for old headphones
I use it to connect a pair of older (rather expensive) handphones to my phone and iPad. It works better than expected the quality is very close to a cabled connection (Read as almost perfect) the range is good it connects every time and works great for both music and watching movies on my iPad. I even started taking it on flights to watch movies there. battery life is about 8 hours of continuous use (Would have liked more for long haul flights). Love the piece don't travel anywhere without it now :)

VFM Does an excellent job great output
Compact solution to get any wired earphones or headphones wireless. Also You can connect Your Car Audio via Aux cable and have a Bluetooth system if Your Car Audio missed this feature. I'm connecting this FIIO device to my fire stick TV and this helps Me watch the TV and not disturb anyone with sound output from my TV instead I hear it on my headphones or earphones.
