Versatile Crab and Shrimp spice!
This spice (JO #2) brings back so many great memories of cooking crabs and shrimp when I worked in a seafood shop as a teenager. The balance of spiciness and salt is perfect for not only seafood but also veggies and poultry. I remember driving up to Baltimore often for work from Northern VA to pick up barrels and barrels to bring back to the seafood shop.

Move over Old bay there’s a better seasoning in town👍👍👍
My husband loves this stuff! Better than Oldbay by a long shot. His words not mine. I am allergic to shellfish 🦐 🦞 🦀

Dang, super salty
I was hoping to use this as a rub or seasoning for grilling fish and shrimp. Yo it’s super salty. You need a tall lemonade on the stand by. Nice spice tho.

I put J.O. on everything
J.O. seasoning is delicious. This container will last you because it's potent and you only need a little. A tiny sprinkle on potatoes is so good. Yes - it's a crab staple. When you're looking for a little bit more kick than Old Bay - try J.O.

Brings me back to days in northern VA.
Brings me back to days in northern VA. A decent home chef needs both JO and Old Bay, depending on the application. Restaurants in northern VA and Maryland tend to use JO, but Old Bay seems more popular at home. They are perhaps interchangeable, but are not the same.
