wonderful taste, easy "granola" recipe below
The perfect coconut flakes, unsweetened, has a wonderful taste. Excellent price when you buy the case, store extra in your freezer.Update.....8/2013.........this is a great product for diabetics, not to mention the healthy coconut oil that still remains in this product.Easy Healthy Coconut Granola2 cups coconut chips1 cup nuts...cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, pecans¼ cup maple syrup¼ cup honey¼ cup coconut oil1 tsp. vanilla2 T. of chia seeds (great powerhouse little seed) or sub flax seed or leave these out.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.Melt coconut oil, honey and maple syrup in a small saucepan until starting to bubble and simmer.Add vanilla when you remove from the heat.In a large bowl, mix the coconut chips and nuts and any optional ingredients if using.Pour honey/maple syrup/coconut oil mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well. The consistency will vary some depending on the honey, coconut chips, and coconut oil you use. If there is not enough of the honey mixture to lightly coat all of the ingredients, add slightly more melted coconut oil and honey in equal parts.Spread on a parchment paper lined baking dish.Bake for 15-20 until starting to brown.Remove and let cool, then crumble in to granola pieces.Store in an air tight jar

The advertising was very misleading since it said there were a pack of 12. That is false advertisement since only one pack came.

The description of the product says it is 7 oz(pack of 12). It is 7 oz but it is only one pack! This is truly a Rip off!! The description also says the typical price is $34.08 bit is discounted 90%. I should have known the deal was too good to be true.I tried to return the product because what I received was not the product advertised.I AM VERY DISGUSTED ABOUT THE WHOLE SALE!! Never again!If I could give zero stars I would have.FALSE ADVERTISING AT ITS BEST!

Great deal
Great deal for bulk organic quality coconut! I use these flakes to make my own coconut milk, lattes, coconut bacon and desserts! At first I had wished it came in one huge bag rather than individual bags to save on plastic, but then realized this is much better to keep it fresh for longer. Each individual bag goes a long way!
