I got this for cooking in hotel rooms when I travel. I was very skeptical about it - it frankly sounded too good to be true. And it took me FOREVER to find non-plastic containers that would work with it - a 6 cup Pyrex is perfect. But I tried it for the first time today with a frozen dinner (leftovers from my home cooking), and it worked great! I put it in completely frozen, plugged it in and six hours later: Hot, delicious dinner! I only gave it four stars because it was so hard and time consuming to find a container for it - who wants to heat plastic for hours? And I wish it would come with both a 12v plug AND a wall plug, since most people will want this for mobile purposes. For the price, though, this is definitely worth it. I was also surprised that my heavily spiced meal did not smell up the bag itself nor the rest of the house (I tried it at home before going on the road). They could make a lot more sales I think if they would make it easy to order a metal or glass container that fits inside.

I got this for my husband because he travels for work and doesn't always have access to a microwave. He is often working in houses that are being renovated and don't have appliances, so this is perfect for him. He has been using it for a bit over a month now and is really happy with it. He was honestly surprised at how well it heats his food up. The only drawback is I have to be conscious of the shape of container I pack for him so that it fits, but that is such a minor detail. Overall a great gift and now he is able to not have to worry about finding lunch in the middle of no where or unfamiliar places.

I have purchased a few different 1s and returned them because they didn't do what it was sold to do,but this 1 dose,I cooked a full meal in it when i got it to make sure it works and it do,I just wish it had a plug for the car instead got to buy a plug to use in car so I havnt used it in my car yet but it works plugged up reg ways so am sure it will work on the go in car if u buy the right instended plug to go with it for ur car ,the only con about it it onky come with a reg plug In

Just plug and it will start to heat up. Plan about 3-4 hours before you take your break for the heat to build up and evenly keep your food hot. So this is trial and error for me. My lunch is refrigerated and I plugged it in the first time for two hours before my lunch and some spots of my food was luke-warm at best. Next time round I plugged it in for the 3-4 hour mark and it was perfect!

So I wasnt sure how I would like this...AND ITS AWESOME! Heats up quickly. 15mins and the whole bag was hot. Threw in frozen white castle burgers and left over brisket sandwich....and within the hour it was piping hot and ready to go. Honestly could have taken it out earlier...but I was at work and didnt mind leaving it. Did NOT dry out the meat. Definitely recommedning this to anyone who hates microwaving their food and having it become dry and chewy.

I wish I had bought one sooner, as it was a far better way to reheat lunches at work than the microwave. No spatter, no dried-out food, and the food is evenly heated. Give it a shot!PS: If you like fish, you can now reheat your dishes without leaving a fishy odor in the microwave.

I bought this for car camping. I'm not a great fire starter and do enjoy hot meals. I plugged it in, put my container in the case and in a short while I had hot pasta. Its small and easy to pack as well.

I bought both the 12V version and the wall plug version. I get up early to hit the ski resorts so that I can snowboard without getting stuck in traffic. This means I eat breakfast and have coffee in my car. It’s really nice to have a warm home cooked meal! Some resorts don’t offer great food. 2 of the 1 lb tin containers fit for perfectly. Thank you to another reviewer for the pro tip!I loved the car version Hot Logic so much that I bought the wall plug version. I work remotely and don’t always have time to make lunch. So I just place a prepped meal (using Factor right now) into a Pyrex container in the Hot Logic. When I have a break, I have a hot meal ready.

I'm a crane operator and for the last 8 years my lunch has been cold sandwiches and cold leftovers. The first day I used it, I brought leftover lasagna - plugged it in an hour before lunch and at 12:00 noon my lunch was piping hot; almost too hot to eat, actually.If you work in construction and have access to 120 volt power, get this. Now.If you have access to a vehicle 12 volt outlet, get this and an inverter. Now. It only uses 45 watts so any cheap inverter should handle it.You work your butt off all day; treat yourself to a hot lunch!

Me gustó que no ocupa espacio en la maleta y no pesa mucho.No he cocinado nada en ella pero honestamente no pienso que sirva de mucho. Si te interesa una parrilla para preparar alimentos desde cero, esta no es tu mejor opción.Sirve para calentar alimentos ya preparados, para mí, eso es suficiente. Claro, programa tus comidas porque tarda mínimo 30 minutos en tibiar o dejar casi caliente la comida. Pero con 40 minutos seguro ya está.La recomiendo para aquél que viaja mucho y no quiere o puede estar ordenando comida a cada rato y que tiene la necesidad de calentar el contenido de latas, comida para llevar, etc.Nota: puedes meter refractarios de vidrio, tupper de plástico, cajas de cartón, no se queman.

As a flight attendant and due to limited food options sometimes in some places these days, due to pandemic whilst travelling - figured this might come in handy. The food I have warmed up (nothing from frozen state, yet) was plenty hot enough within 20-30min. It isn’t that large - but I was prepared for that as I looked at measurements before ordering. It’s plenty big enough to fit one takeout or glass container and a couple of other things (ex: couple of buns, wrapped in foil)Only wish it could be used in Europe or had adjustable voltage or even better would be if it had USB plug instead of electrical plug.Tracking with Canpar was accurate and it arrived fast enough & when expected but Amazon has not updated the delivery date within “My Orders” and it’s showing not delivered yet...

Before I had purchased this I was eating cold sandwiches, I work in a construction camp. Now that I have this little oven, I can have perfectly heated food! I bought a glassware/with plastic snap on lid that fits it like it was made for it. Now I can enjoy foods like wings, spaghetti and meatballs, 4 small pot pies, 4 big pieces of lasagne, beef stew, and chicken fettuccine alfredo. I even tried throwing in 2 philly cheese steak subs, heated it perfectly, with a little crust on the ends but that's ok. I am so glad i bought this unit, you will too, buy it now!

This is an amazing product. I never realized how much a microwave dries out or toughens food. Being a fitness person who packs meals, my food sometimes is not that tasty, nuking it made it worse. With this, gently warming it makes the food taste way better. I recommend this big time. If you are a fitness person, this is a must have especially when traveling. When competing, you can warm your meals anywhere!!!Just an update, I found that you need to use storage containers that are wide, sort of matching the surface of the warming plate. I know this makes sense and most of you would already know this. I noticed this when using more narrow tall containers that I was using due to limitations of my lunch bag and it did not heat the food nearly as well. So if you make sure you use wide and longer containers like the one in the photo below, you will see this thing works amazingly. This is a life saver as I prepare all my meals and love having the ability to warm them gently so that the flavors are not nuked to death.
