These are not really heavy duty....I have 3 of them holding up one small wooden shelf in my garage, but they were already bent out of shape in shipping...which is no big deal...I just made them a perfect 90 again, but they are listed as heavy duty...they can't really hold much weight without starting to go out of 90. I'd still buy them for holding small items or items that are large but not heavy...I'd say with 3 of them under a shelf that is about 30 inches long...it would hold 15Lbs max without buckling under pressure.

The brackets are made of thick gauge metal, presumably steel, with a nice black finish. The screws that are supplied are drywall screws, not wood screws, which are inappropriate for mounting because the shaft is very thin compared to normal wood screws and do not have the same strength. In addition drywall screws are inappropriate to use with the dry wall anchors that were supplied (again, made for normal wood screws).

I made a mantel and needed to figure out how to mount it, these brackets worked perfectly for a 6" floating mantel. I mounted a small piece of 1x6" to each bracket and then mounted them to the studs. I slid the mantel on them and secured with screws from above, drilling down into the small 1x6s. I probably could've just used two, they are really sturdy, but I wanted overkill just in case so went with 4. I still have 4 left and plan to make some more shelves, these are great.

I got these to reinforce a wobbly wall shelf and they were just right for the purpose. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Shiny black, smooth edges all around and with the hardware inside. All I had to do was drill holes in the wall and in a short time my selves weren’t wobbling any more. Had a good experience with this product.

This is the second time I have ordered these brackets and both times shipping has been quick and the product was quality, all the screws and hardware you need are included in the packaging, if you need just a basic bracket for hanging a shelf, you can't go wrong with these

These did the job! Not strong enough to hold heavy shelves but it would be silly to expect them to. These work great for several decorative shelves I’ve put up. I found a couple to be a little crooked or not perfectly square but it’s easy to bend them into place.

Absolutely amazing deal. I had boards in my garage that I wanted to make into shelves for years and finally had a project where I needed them. I bought these for less than $10 for 8 brackets and they work amazing. Sturdy, they look great, no complaints at all, especially for the price.

I used these for exposed shelves in my small bathroom.I hung two 20” long boards. Standard 5.5 inch boards.I used 2 brackets on each shelf.The screws and anchors provided give plenty of strength in my drywall. I did not mount on studs.I’m very happy with them.
