If you are looking for a sealer/stain for quality cedar outdoor furniture -- this is the best there is. Period.

This sellers product description does not specify container size. They only tell you its code number followed by .005, which means you need to know that this indicates quart or you can look at the weight of this product, or by comparing to other seller descriptions, that this can't be a gallon size because the weight is too small to be a gallon. There is a breakdown on the page of the code difference but it's written in a way that can still lead to confusion as to which one is gallon and which is quart size.Seller was contacted to tell them to specify this in their description but they still haven't clarified it.The product is good itself but I gave it only three stars because of the misleading description by this seller.

Saved my deck. The OIL finish is excellent. My deck takes sun and weather in the Hudson Valley. I brush this on and then towel it off so it looks like hand rubbed finish. My deck looks beautiful. I used to use Epifanes matte, but it couldn’t hold up with the weather sun abuse. Use only the oil version! I didn’t even finish a quart for my deck front of house.

This is the original oil-based stuff - wonderful! But the vendors will not tell you ahead of time whether they can send to your state and may subsitute the water-based "equivalent" (garbage) if they cannot ship original formular to your state. Unless state restrictions are clearly listed in the Amazon product description, this is deceptive!

Built a table for my Big Green Egg with a combination of untreated 4x4's and poplar boards. Planned on using Spa-Urethane but the paint department worker at Lowe's recommended this product instead. Accented the grain of the wood, darkened it nicely and water beads like a newly waxed car.Have bragged on this product to many friends who never heard of it but agree it looks beautiful. Be interesting to see how long it lasts. Highly recommended.
