Why I Gave 5 Stars ??????Comfast CF-WU810N 2.4GHz 802.11b/g/n 150Mbps USB 2.0 Wireless Wi-Fi Network Adapter - White is a product you never miss , it's a true classic device and it's very usable . I've seen some people that they need to install CD-Rom to install the drivers but i don't have an issue like that.I just plugged the device in my Pc and it installed itself and it has medium range of connectivity but no issues at all.It Has stability.I bought this device way back in 2013 , even now i'm using mobile with this wireless router ,I'm very happy with this

I bought it for my raspberry pi and to do some project with it. It is working fine with my laptop and desktop perfectly both of which uses ubuntu as an operating system. But is not capable of connecting my raspberry pi. It might be my fault too as I am not sure my power supply is capable or not for handling it. It is detecting in raspberry pi but wifi can not be configured. For normal usage in pc its great. It is just plug and play so no driver is needed at least for the case of ubuntu users.

This product is not working with Windows Vista. I installed the drivers and it is not getting recognized. When I tried it in Windows 8 on a laptop, the laptop crashed as soon as I tried to create a hot spot. The only reason I did not return it is because I am going to upgrade my operating system on the PC and then going to try to use it over there.EDIT 19 September 2015I upgraded my operating system a few days ago to Windows 10. I tried the device on my PC with the upgraded operating system, and to my surprise it worked. Using this device, I am able to access internet over Wi-Fi, as well as create a Wi-Fi hotspot on my PC to share PC's internet connection. Setting up the connections is easy.However, the device feels underpowered and does not have good signal strength in hotspot mode and the reception is not good either. When I share my internet from the mobile phone, the phone needs to be very near the PC, otherwise the reception signal strength drops alarmingly. And when in hotspot mode, the signal strength is only good within a couple of meters.Overall it is an okay device to turn your non Wi-Fi machine into a Wi-Fi capable machine, and I guess one cannot expect much more at this cost.

Bought in 2015, was resting on table for more than 2yrs due to bad installation (Windows 7) & no really help from service center (in phone chats), still in 2018, was able to use its function as WiFi in Windows 10 as just Plug & Play while in windows 7 with help of software installation was able to use same !!Only care to be taken while plugging unplugging, as it's back-cap could be detached that could give you some pain in life !!!If you can't use it, better run to Service center in time.

I bought a Wayona wifi adapter which just wouldnt work on my Raspberry pi. I had tried all options of compiling and using the Wayona drivers on Raspberry but it just wouldnt work. So I decided to return it and ordered this Comfast device which is in the list of compatible devices for Raspberry. This device was plug and play on my Kodi XBMC installation. This was a breeze to work with. I highly recommend it for Raspberry Pi as it is the easiest one to use if you have latest updates on your XBMC.

Great product for the money!For win 7 you have to dload the drivers or use the provided diskfor win 8 its just a simple plug and playPros:-Light weightquick connectivitycons:-Low rangeand need for drivers if u r gonna use dis as a hotspotJust go for it...

It's an awesome product for create a wireless lan with an incredible hotspot range up to 50 meters the only problem with this NIC is it's user interface Which is less user friendly for people with no knowledge in computer networks ( The realtek usb wireless LAN Utility) no proper guide to use the software with in the package but you can download very useful manual from internet for configure. In case of vale of money i give 4.5 out of 5.

I got it on time. But Having some problem with installing the software. The software along with the device is not working on windows 10. Also I cant able install it on Linux (ubuntu 15.04 x86_x64) also. So i cant able to use it as a hotspot. But as a WiFi receiver it works perfectly without any driver installation. One more thing it works perfectly in Windows XP :p. I didn't tried it in Windows 7.
