Fuel Injector Pigtail Connector Plug Wire EV6 Compatible with Ford Mustang F150 F250 Crown Victoria (Pack of 8)

Bought two sets based on some reviews stating that a few arrived broken. Cheap enough to buy to so I'd be able to make one good set if that happened, or I broke one installing it. Second set was returned unopened. My 2000 Ford Explorer 5.0L harness uses this style connector. When removing the harness from my engine every one of the locking tabs snapped off at the slightest press. Having been in place and likely untouched for 24 years, I wasn't too surprised. Considered using zipties to hold them in palce, but these were cheap enough to try and replace them. My wires were in excellent shape, so rather than cutting and splicing, I depinned and swapped the connectors housing over to my wires. They were all swapped over quickly. Didn't time it, but easily less than 30 minutes including figuring hout how to depin. If you are going to replace them this way, you'll only need a few tools. You'll want a good headlamp to see what you're doing inside the connector and keep both hands free. You'll need a small flat head screw driver and maybe a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the retainer. You'll also need either a smaller flat screw driver (think micro precision small) or a straight pick to release the locking tabs, but do it gently. Pull gently on the wires as you are lifing the locking tab and they will slide right out. Install is reverse of removal. Everything installed well, they feel well made and look identical to my original connectors.

On my 2019 Mustang, a rat had chewed through the wire in my engine bay, had no choice but to order some new connectors. They shipped within the day and i ordered it at 7pm. They fit perfectly onto my injector plug, and the wire was long enough that i was able to splice and save myself a thousand bucks to fix the main wiring harness. All in all, great product and quality.

Worked well for rebuilding parts of my 2005 Corvette LS2 engine wiring harness. 6 of the 8 original injector connectors broke the tab off, so I wired these in and they work very well.

So as I read in a few other reviews these clips are fragile and will break when removed. They went on great and super snug with a great seal, but when I went to remove it the retaining clip broke off. So I soldered them into my harness then plugged them in... hopefully I don't need to remove them lol. For the price the quality is what I expect... I figure if one breaks when I go to remove it Ill just de pin and re pin with a new connector again. Deserves a 4/5 in my eyes

These worked perfect for my needs. I depinned them all and used my factory wires. I just needed the housing and these worked perfectly.

While replacing my coil packs had a couple of the connections break, which wasn’t a big surprise seeing how my truck has over 100.000 miles on it. Some say to pull the pins out of the old ones and install them in the new plugs, I went another way and cut the old pins off the wiring and soldered the new ones on and did heat shrink tubing over joints then wrapped the with high temp rated electric tape because the old pig tails are a bit short and thought it would make the next go around much easer. Could be wrong but they are all holding up well after right at a thousand miles on them.
