LOVE MY SILKIES KNEE HIGHS!! I have been wearing Silkies for 20 years! Highest quality, SO comfortable, beautiful colors and after 20 years, I finally need SUPPORT KNEE HIGHS - and these Ultra Knee HIghs give me just the right amount of support for being on my feet all day at work - no more swollen ankles. These wash well and last a long time. They fit as expected and they are very pretty to wear with any kind of shoe. I purchased them in every available color in my size. I have very sensitive skin due to latex allergy, and Silkies are the only hose that I can wear without any irritation. These knee highs stay up for my entire 10 hour work shift. Wide, soft band at the top of the Knee High I am ordering some more for work right now.

This is not queen size.
I placed a repeat order of the queen size. My first order was 3 years ago and my mom loved them. I recently placed another order and the product is not the same. It is way too small for queen size. I actually reordered a second time thinking there must have been a mistake but this order was too small as well. These won't fit if you are queen size.

Run easily too.
I've worn this brand in the past and found them to be perfectly acceptable. Unfortunately this lot I received isn't of the same quality as I've had in the past: they roll at the top, creating an uncomfortable and unattractive bulge under pants. They also seem to want to want to fall down - I took them off before that could happen. Run easily too.

Is a little on the opaque side, not sheer.
I used it under summer dresses; thought they would be sheer and "summery" but are fairly opaque and look a little strange with some dresses. Better for winter clothes.

They prevent swelling in lower extremities
These knee highs have a two inch band below my knee. No more pinching. They fit perfectly. I've worn them every day since I received them. No more varicose veins showing when I wear shorts. No more swelling in my lower legs. They are comfortable and look great.

They have not snagged yet and wash very well.

Not "beige!"
For some reason stores only seem to sell "suntan" knee highs so I thought I'd try an online option. I ordered the "beige" but they are beyond suntan in my opinion. They are like a sheer version of my brown (espresso) tights. I didn't try them on as I will be donating them to the thrift store but I ranked them a two-star instead of a one-star because they do seem like they would be comfortable. Returning them costs more than buying another pair so that was a bit of frustration as well. Very disappointed.

doesn't feel like compression
Bought these for mild compression, doesn't feel like anything more than a slightly thicker knee hi. Will look for something that does a better job
