Algoma Sport Couch, Red

These sport couches are hands down the BEST. With 3 children we went through a variety of heavier folding chairs and an expensive camping couch from REI before finding these amazing gems. I just bought our 5th one (because the only downside is, they're so awesome, we had one of ours stolen... and another one we wore through after constant use for 2 years)!They are so lightweight to carry, and fold/unfold so easily that any child can carry one and be responsible for it, and 3 of these can fit a family of 6 of any age, or up to 9 smaller kids. So much better than carrying 6 separate chairs!We are asked about this couch at pretty much every kids' sporting event we attend. People see how great and multi-purpose it is. Finally, the fabric stays taut no matter how long we've used them, or how much weight you add. My husband and I together weigh about 350 lbs and don't even leave a dent! Ha!I never take the time to review purchases, but this is the one item we've purchased that is 5 star super awesome so I'm doing a review to recommend it to all. If you're going to the beach, camping, or just around town to your kids sports... you need to get this thing! Trust me, you will be comfortable, and the envy of your sports/camping/beachmates.

I've been looking for something to take to my son's sporting games and this is what I decided on. After using it a few times and also taking it camping, I am confident to say that I made a great selection. My husband and I along with our 2-yr old can fit on this bench. Given we are not big people (5'5), it has worked well for us. It's super light weight. It feels just as light as a beach chair, which is amazing. It folds up and collapses pretty flat so does not take up much space when you lay it down. We were able to use it for sporting events such as soccer and baseball and sit more comfortably than in the bleachers. The only reason why I gave it a 4-star instead of 5 is two-fold: 1) You can't adjust the angle of the "lean". I like to sit more upright and my husband likes to lean back a bit. There's really only one choice and that's it! 2) The steel bar on top, hits me right in the backbone. To avoid that, they would have to make a chair with a higher back (like a lawn chair). I deal with it, but sometimes I have to re-adjust my body.

LOVE this. Beyond expectations. Pulled it out of the box - slightly lightly than expected in a good way but also feels super sturdy at the same time - unfolded it in one motion with no setting up or unfolding legs or bars separately. Its low as pictured but Im an almost 6ft woman and it was so comfortable. My knees werent up in my chest or anything. Perfect height. Not as low as standard low beach chairs so you really do feel off thenground. Like Id sit and watch a day of movies on it let alone use it at a kid's sports game instead of the ground. BUY IT. Never seen anything comparable and Im not the easiest person to impress :)

I love heavy duty items as a larger person. Also love having room for two... ;)- This is heavy duty. Easily held two adults and 4 kids at one point. A couple observations: It sits fairly low to the ground which is great if your like me (Built like Fred Flintstone) but not so much if you tall. Also, as it holds a lot of weight, if you find yourself using it in the sand you will find yourself sinking. One last note, if you are going to have it close to the fire place put a blanket over it. A sudden snap crackle pop from the fire sent an ember strait through the chair. I now have a quarter size hole through the middle of it... Keep smokers away from it as well. Only major negative for this chair is that everyone in my group wanted to use it, so I did not get to enjoy it as much as I would have liked.

Yes, it is low (more like a beach chair). I am short, my husband is average size, but neither of us minded much. It's not incredibly comfortable (no cushion between you & the frame) but we still enjoyed it for camping and the fire pit. Very simple to open & fold. However, it will not last if you leave it outdoors long term. We left it out at the fire pit and after a full summer the material gave out - ripped clean through. To the dump it had to go. :(

Overpriced, the seat & back are tight fabric which would be ok if the back reclined a bit like even the cheapest sand & lawn chairs. It is low to the ground like a sand chair. Its a cute concept but missing a simple design characteristic. I went past my return window so I'm stuck with it.

Broke after 1 month. At the softball field & before we knew it flat on our butts! So embarrassing!Came apart under the arm rests. My husband and I are not big people either , I'm 140 he's 200, weight limit is 500! I would return it if I could...

My boyfriend and I LOVE the outdoors and this chair/couch have come in handy. This product durable,the frame is sturdy, canvas is tough and tight, arm rests are real wood, and the easy fold-up and carrying strap make it very convenient. Does not take up space,It breaks down easy and flat.

Was way shorter than expected (seat comes up to mid calf and I'm 5'7") but otherwise it's fantastic
