These don't last long, I find myself having to replace them about once a week or 2 but you get a ton in a single order so it's not a big deal. The case is extremely solid and each set of blades is wrapped 3 per a wrap in a way that separates each individual blade in the wrap as well. The case contains a disposal area for old blades and is overall a really good design. Well worth the money.

Perfect for the cutter I use in the home

If you're asking if this is worth purchasing and may be concerned about 81 blades being overkill, don't. Because it's certainly worth it. Especially since it's a proprietary blade that only fits a specific cutter (A.K.A. the Wal-Mart box cutter). The blades cut like butter on any thickness of cardboard, tape, plastic, etc. The only downside is that these blades don't seem to hold a sharp edge for very long, I'd estimate after 20 boxes is when you start to notice it getting dull. But since it's double-edged, having a newly sharp blade is only a quick switch of the blade away and then you're good to go! Each little (stick-of-gum-looking) strips come with 3 blades in each one. I've never gone through more than 3 blades in a busy 8 hour day of cutting consistently, so there's no need bring the case of 81 with you. Simply toss a few in the pocket and you'll be good to go. Overall, I would most certainly purchase this again. As have my co-workers. Other notes: These blades fit in the "Easy Cut 1000" and "2000" models. There's a blade disposal compartment located at the top of the box.
