Hydrolyte Thickened Water Lemon 4 oz. Cup 24 Ct

My husband had tried all kinds of liquids with different flavors and consistency due to his swallowing difficulty from a recurring severe thrush in his throat and mouth resulting from all the inhaler medications he has been taking for his Emphysema and COPD. The Hormel's Thick and Easy, HydroLyte Water with Nectar Consistency, Lemon Flavor seem to have a soothing effect and easily swallowed. It also relieves the dryness in his mouth and throat. I have tried giving him with the same product but in a 48 oz bottle as it was more convenient to obtain upon his discharge from the hospital and before I ordered the product with amazon.com. My husband did not like the consistency despite what it was written in the product. I have also observe that giving him the 4oz. plastic container is better,very handy and saves time and effort. Above all, medically the edema or swelling in both of his lower extremities seem to be relieved as he tend to void more urine due to the additional electrolytes such as sodium and potassium in each plastic container. Therefore, I highly recommend this product due to it's medical healing effect, more comfort and more easily available and affordable with Amazon.Com.with its free shipment and one or two days delivery service.

The taste of this thickened water lemon was good. I kept reorder it for my father. I am sure he was happy with it. Thank you.

Since my mother had a stroke, I have been purchasing this product. It is a good texture. It does not have an aftertaste and very easy to use. Great for any person that needs to have thick liquid.

What I like: Tastes great. Great size. Like individual servings. Easy to take on outings. Provides hydration. Works well for those that have swallowing or choking issues. What I dislike: Nothing! How I use it: With meals, during outings, in lunches, during exertion. Recommendation: A game challenge for swallowing and choking patients.

They thick and easy water does not hydrate you and it causes diarrhea

The product is good, however, a couple of the individual cups were damaged which resulted in wet packaging.

We purchased these after my father had them during a brief stay in a rehabilitation facility following surgery. He was having issues swallowing liquids and especially pills. They had him try this “thick water” and holy cow was it an amazing difference. My dad made it clear these were to be in his refrigerator when he got home. He never once coughed or choked swallowing pills or water again when using these. He said they taste great so I tried. The lemon was fantastic. It is 100% water but thickened. No after taste or anything.

Dad has a PEG tube. Has tried other thickened waters but loves this one.
