Added a chocolate taste without darkening the cream mjxture
I used this in a family recipe fit creme de cocoa cake. It replaced the vanilla extract. It enhanced the taste of the the cocoa in my cream mixture. Will definitely be using this in my future

Colorless extract, mild flavor
Since I am not able to find Watkins Cocoa Extract anymore, I decided to give this a try. The good news... if I want flavored icings without worrying about color being left because of the extract, this fits the bill. HOWEVER. This extract only offers a hint of flavor. It isn't bold. Perhaps once in with cocoa powder, the flavor will be bold.But the colorless part is a good selling point for this, especially if you want the flavor but a blue icing... Or a yellow icing... Anything but a brown or black icing. Just for that part, I probably will buy it again.

No what I expected
If you add this to anything chocolate it completely changes the taste and you will never get a true chocolate flavor ..

Yummy in coffee
I use this in my coffee rather than syrups or other flavor aids. It is not like adding a packet of cocoa to my drink, iced or hot; but it does add a hint of chocolate. Good enough for me! I add a few drops of Stevia and creamer because I am a coffee whimp-so I am told-but they complement my coffee and reduce bitterness for me. I also use in baking and it only enhances flavors, does not have funny taste at all.My feeling is that, I am not buying additives and dealing with a "use by" date or space in my fridge-- this little bottle lasts me a couple of months when used regularly. That seems cost effective and calorie wise-- :O}

Lacks chocolate flavor.
It's a bit lacking in flavor, but it's okay for the price.

Yum!
This gives chocolate no bake cookies the “special something” to make them outstanding! Yes, it smells like the alcohol used to extract the chocolate flavor. That’s why you add it to the hot batter, or bake it into a cake - to evaporate the alcohol. It’s just like the vanilla extract.

It didn't turn out as strong on the chocolate flavor as I would have liked but I'm going to try it in other baked ...
I bought this to make homemade chocolate-flavored marshmallows. I used over a tablespoon of the extract and had enhanced the flavor with a little bit of cocoa and espresso powder. It didn't turn out as strong on the chocolate flavor as I would have liked but I'm going to try it in other baked goods. It does smell like cocoa and I like Rodelle Cocoa so overall it's a good product. It's just not an extract I've worked with before.
