shipping was great.. packaging was perfect
We purchased this for our son for Christmas and it arrived in plenty of time..shipping was great..packaging was perfect. Did a lot of research and went with this one mainly because it was a mid-range horn with great bore and bell dimensions.Beautiful horn but that is as far as it went. My husband has been playing trumpet for almost 30 years and could not get a decent sound out of this horn. We tried reseating valves, oiling, cleaning, re-oiling ... nothing... I will be returning this horn so I may purchase another.

Good Horn for It's Intended Purpose
This is not intended to be a primary trumpet. With that in mind, I rate it a 4. I bought this so I can practice when I go on frequent international trips for work. It's great for that. It has a nice case that's a little bigger than a lunch box, so I just toss it in my suitcase. The silver finish is surprisingly good and the fit and finish is decent. I practice in my hotel with a Shmute (silencer practice mute) and have never had a complaint about noise. The weak link is the valves - specifically the springs. I will replace the springs with higher tension ones if it becomes a problem, but it works just fine for now. You're paying less than two hundred bucks for a pocket trumpet here. If your expectations are set accordingly, you should be very happy with it.
