RiptGear Open Patella Knee Brace with Adjustable Side Straps - Designed to Reduce Pressure on Knee Cap

I really like this product. Hold good with no sliding. Read directions on how to put it on. It didn't fit right the first time I put it on. I didn't read directions and didn't put the straps on in the correct order. Once I figured it out it works perfectly. It does have a very thin sleeve. You have to slide your leg in the brace.

I have always had knee issues. I play basketball 2-4 times a week and recently had a non contact knee issue. I researched braces and what not basses on other reviews I chose this brace. After wearing it 3-4 times I like it quite a bit. The straps can be a little spaghetti like and get all tangled but they are easy to untangle.My only issue, and this is an issue with all these types of braces, is it doesn’t breathe at all and it makes that portion of my leg sweat a lot, and I do not usually sweat all that much. The real good news is that it doesn’t appear to slide due to said sweat and that is a great thing.

I wish I had found these sooner. My knees crack every time I bend them. You can hear it, everyone can. They can hurt so bad at times that I have to walk sideways down our basement stairs. Me being stubborn doing HIIT and vigorous workouts doesn’t help with my problems but these braces do. I liked the right side so much that I bought the left as well. I was shocked that my right knee stopped cracking/grinding so bad, then the left stopped. The pain left as well. I usually use these on rest days and keep my legs up but sleeping in them, I found to be the best even though they are comfortable to wear during the day.They are flexible and I have worked out in them which I should probably be doing but again, I’m stubborn. They take some getting used to if you’re going to workout in them.

I bought this knee brace (size medium, the smallest size offered) to help stablize my knee for hiking. I like the design where the compression sleeve made out of a lightweight material goes on first before applying the brace straps. My legs are are on the small side so there was not a snug fit with the compression sleeve on. BUT the sleeve did help protect the back and side of my knee from contact with the rubber of the brace itself. I tightened the straps as much as possible and found that if I wear this brace over my legging hiking pants, it will not slip. I like the size of the brace and the 4 straps, which really add to stability. I do wish there was a small size available, but I've made it work.

Hurt my knee the other day and put on my old elastic knee brace. It would shift and needed to constantly be adjusted. Old brace also cut into my skin and was very uncomfortable. I ordered this RiptGear brace and it is fantastic! It offers more support than the elastic style and stays put while you are wearing it! Also, it is very comfortable, doesn't dig into your leg or damage your skin! I definitely recommend this brace!

I was nervous this might be too small but was happily surprised that it fit! I may have even gotten it a little big because the brace has some give. They were a little generous with the sizing I think. But it's great to have found a product that supports my knee! thanks. Jury still out a little on durability time will tell. I think brace will last if anything doesn't last it could be the slip on back netting which is just a helpful thing to help get the brace in place before fastening the velcro and can be used without that sleeve. Fabric irritated my skin especially around the kneecap, and the wrap around fit was not quite flush back to my leg; While I have not used in sports (main purpose) while testing around house I could no leave on very log. SO Sad, as I need to find a d=different one before summer sports start up. :-)
