Used in a regular hifi set-up the sound is crystal clear, but totally lacking in any bass (due to their small size). With the addition of a subwoofer the sound is superb, if all you listen to is speech then they are excellent on their own but with a subwoofer they come to life, get a sub you'll not regret it. The pros are, a good-looking and well built speaker diminutive in stature which sounds superb when paired with a subwoofer. The cons, price, non-removable grill. Highly recommended 10/10

Great sound for this small speaker. Did not expect strong bass as it is a meant to be satellite speaker. So, I have a subwoofer to go with it.

I needed to re-jig my AV 7.1 system & replace the B&W centre speaker with something smaller that would fit under the T.V. Unable to find a passive soundbar or one I was confident would work in my system I decided to try the minx , & I'm pleased to say it's worked out well. Of course it doesn't have the range of the old centre speaker but once I'd recalibrated the system using the receiver's microphone it's all sounding fine & looks neat. If used on it's own you would need a sub to fill out the sound.

Used as centre speaker mounted under TV as part of 5.1 Surround sound system. Excellent hi end frequency audio quality. Delivers sound effectively with a suprising punch which is more than adequate enough for its use. I plan on purchasing 2 more to replace my current surround sound speakers. Sturdy and robust. The speaker didn't come with the stand which i bought separately. However i ended up opting to use without the stand in the end. Sits perfectly well on its own.

Brilliant product

Nice small & compact, however i got rid of it after a very short while as it wasn't right for my application. I got it for the centre speaker of a 5.1 set-up however the vocals & sound for this centre channel was very weak. I replaced it with a larger speaker and it was louder but centre channel was still poor and i gave-up to a minimum four-speaker set-up. I don't know how good this speaker would've been if i'd used it for other channels but i didn't feel confident about it. It was well constructed though.

Well built. Decent sound given the size. Would have been nice to include some decent swivel brackets. Overall, nice discreet speakers for satellite or add ons for your main speakers.

Compact speaker with easy connection. Despite the small size they deliver a big sound - crystal clear even at low volume. Can’t recommend them enough.

Aus der Not heraus gekaut, die Cambridge Audio Minx Min 22 Lautsprecher. Nachdem wir unser Wohnzimmer erneuert haben, wurde der TV etwas größer gekaut. So passten meine guten alten Elac Lautsprecher nicht mehr neben das TV Gerät. Nachdem diverse alternativen (Soundbars, Lautsprecher, ...) aus diversen Gründen nicht in Frage kamen, bin ich zufällig auf diese kleine Lautsprechern gestoßen. Das beste, die passen von der breite exakt noch neben den Fernsehen. Nun wollte ich aber nicht meine alten Elac (die noch absolut intakt sind) sowie auf meinen Onkyo Stereo Verstärker (der nur 2 Lautsprecher Eingänge hat) verzichten. So hab ich mir folgenden Plan überlegt: Meine beiden Elac passen umgedreht hinter das TV Gerät. Der Sound geht link und rechts am TV raus, zur Seite (wobei rechts eine Wand und links noch eine Vitrine sich befindet). Da die Elac einen mehr voluminösen Sound produzieren, habe ich mir gedacht, sie mach mehr den bassigen Sound. Die beiden Cambridge Audio Minx Min 22 hab ich parallel an die Elac angeschlossen, Ohm technisch sollte es mit dem Onkyo passen (da ich keine absoluten Werte herausfinden konnte. In den technischen Daten steht nur "an 8 Ohm Systemen kompatibel"). Alles umgesetzt und angeschlossen und nicht bereut. Kino Filme kommen mit perfekten Stereo Sound rüber. Die kleine Cambridge liefern einen guten Sound für Sprachen und auch Effekte. Der Bass kommt definitiv von meine Elac raus. Ich habe die Lautsprechern leider noch nicht allein hören können, nur in Kombi. Der Sound kommt aber klar heraus. Hab mir diverse CD angehört (Grönemeyer, Jean-Michel Jarre, L'Entourloop, Metallica, H-Blockx, ...) und bin zufrieden (Ebenfalls nur in Kombi mit den Elac Lautsprecher). Hab mir für die Zukunft noch überlegt, mit einem mini Stereo Verstärker und den Cambridge Audio Minx Min 22 unseres Web Radio in der Küche mit besseren Sound zu versorgen. Dann wüsste ich auch, wie die Lautsprecher alleine klingen (wobei ich mir nicht vorstellen kann, dass die kleinen mini Verstärker wirklich guten Stereo Sound produzieren). Aus meiner Sicht und Anwendungsfall bin ich mit meiner Lösung sehr zufrieden.

Ik had al een paar jaar twee oudere typen minx 11. Ik had ze geplaatst naast mijn monitor. Ik was altijd al tevreden over dit geluid en twijfelde of ik €320 wilde uitgeven voor twee Minxen 22. Maar ik ben blij dat ik dit gedaan heb. Deze nieuwe Minxen klinken veel opener en helderder en ook de lage tonen weergave is beter. Ze voldoen volledig aan mijn verwachtingen!
