Good acoustic string pak
Great value, easy playing, top quality and tone, retains tone for several gigs before needing a change.

Absolutely wonderful set of strings!
These strings are wonderful! They are extremely durable out of the box, and take little stretching to make sure they tune all the way up. I've had no worries with restringing about them popping in my eyes which makes me feel a lot better about them. They sound amazing too! They are bright and lovely, with little buzz! (I have an older Takamine that tends to have issues with string buzz due to the wearing action, but these sound lovely!) They feel great overall and aren't as rough as other strings I've had in the past. Overall a great product and couldn't recommend more!

Great strings. Medium bright. Little mellow.
Great strings. Not as bright and shiny bronze. These bronze phosfer have a little mellow to it. Doesn't jump out in a mix. Stays in the middle. Great for playing with other instruments.

My Preference in Strings !!!
Anyone who plays a lot know that strings are very much a personal thing. The tonal qualities, weight, feel, materials and all other qualities / variables combine to make strings your very own personal favorite. For me these strings bring it all together and are my string of choice for all 12 acoustic electrics I use to play what I consider rock ballads using my strumming-style of play. I love the feel and tone of these strings for my style of play and my equipment set-up. I do have some issues with these strings, but overall, I'm willing to put up with the issues for the overall performance I get from the EJ26 strings. The issues include what I think may be premature breakage. I do not play "hard", I play long (playing several hours daily), but I play rock ballads using a somewhat softer strumming style. (I definitely do not "pound" on the strings - I like to think of it as fairly "gentle" strumming.) Yet, I seem to manage to break the high E & B strings on a regular basis (by playing, not by over tuning). Some of this can be expected, but what bothers me is the frequency with which I'm breaking G strings. I simply don't think these wound G's should be breaking at all with my style of playing. I've noticed that the current "most helpful critical review" mentions this same problem. I change strings frequently so I don't think this is the reason they are breaking. Overall, I am willing to put-up with what I believe to be some premature breakage (especially with the G string), for the other qualities that draw me to the EJ26 strings. They sound great for my style of play, equipment, and set-up. They feel great. I love 'em and will continue to buy quantities of them for my 12 acoustic electrics. I just wish I had a better feeling about the premature breakage.

Volume sound quality and price
I LOVE THESE STRINGS !! I played as a worship leader for 30yrs on my AE Alverez ... and several others. I love the lighter 11ga progressing too the booming 52ga for an amazing FULL SOUND. PHOSPHER BRONSE brings out a great projeted tone quality for big sound volume in open areas amped or not.

Pretty much found my acoustic guitar string...
I have used D'Addario light gauge phosphor bronze strings often on my acoustics, but recently downsized to the custom light gauge .11-.52. I prefer this gauge for finger picking on my Guild F30R, but will string these on my D25BR too. As I get older, my finger pads just need a break, and while I have played medium and standard light sets of all sorts of brands of strings over the years, .11-.52 is where I find myself today. Easy to play, great tone, and the PB alloy makes them last a bit longer than 80/20. And if I can get 2 months out of the EJ26s, well at $9 a pop, that is a great value! I recommend this set for beginners as well, a great place to start, and the gauge will not deter you from playing.

Very commonly found and used by many. Price for 10 is cheaper than buying a pack a time.

Packaging was a little damaged, but overall it is very good. Also, with the "D'addario Play Real" verification system, the strings are proven to not be counterfeit so it's very good.
