Amazon Basics Soft and Thick Cotton Hand Towels for Bath, Kitchen, Gym, 16 x 26 in, White, 12-Pack

These towels are just right for use at the gym. After washing the first time, they seem to fluff up and are soft. Thickness is good. The medium gray color is great as it won't show any stains between washings like white might. Right size for hanging on, or wiping off, exercise equipment. Have washed several times and they are holding up well - no raveling, no loose threads, no lint. They are 100% cotton and seem well made.

I was impressed with the quality of these Amazon Basics towels! They’re a nice balance as a mid-weight option, just what I wanted. Not too plush, soft not scratchy absorbent, and a bright white color. They look nice enough for guest use. They dry fairly quickly and the size, 16x26 inches give plenty of drying surface. These were perfect for my high use kids' bathroom with where frequent changes are necessary. After the first wash and dry, I noticed a little lint, but it was similar to what I've seen with other new towels. The towels feel soft afree washing with no loose threads or thin areas, and they shrank only slightly. I was impressed and decided to order another pack of 24, to use in all our bathrooms. Unfortunately, in the last week the price has increased $8.30! I still plan to reorder hopefully when the price drops a bit. If you're looking for a quality everyday use hand towel, of good size, weight and looks great - I recommend these!

I like these towels. They are not luxuriously thick but also not super thin. I am using these for everyday towels to dry my hands and also at night after washing my face. I actually prefer the thickness over really thick towels. They wash up well on a hot cycle and do not have much shrinkage. Also no obsessive lint in the dryer clean out afterwards. These make great guest towels. There is not much of a design and that’s why I gave them 4 stars. They are very basic towels.

These are not thick, luxury towels but they are so useful! I use them as kitchen towels. Just ordered more and realized that the first order of these "basic" towels had given me almost 2 years of constant use. That's great value for the money. They are very soft and absorbent. The size is generous enough to take care of all my kitchen tasks. Recommend.

Bought these to use in the hair salon I work at. Holding up very well so far. They are NOT bleach resistant, so keep that in mind, but we don’t care. We like that they are still soft and plush after a few months of use and a lot of machine washing. I will definitely buy again when needed.

Twenty years ago I was able to buy decent white shop towels off the shelf from discount retailers and auto supply stores. However, over the years, shop towels from those sources have significantly declined in quality. The last few packages of shop towels that I have purchased were thin and see-through when new and become threadbare and full of holes after laundering a few times. Over the last several years I have tried purchasing shop towels from both brick and mortar and online sources, but every time I have been disappointed. Fortunately, I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of these towels. Upon receiving them, I wash them in a “optic white” 115 minute laundry cycle and dried them. I am impressed with how little lint they left in my dryer filter and how substantial they are. After folding them into sixths to match the footprint of my quarter-folded,shop towels, a stack of six of these towels measures almost 10 inches tall. To do a comparison I folded my smaller shop towels into sixths so there would be the same number of layers of towels. The stack of six shop towels waa just under 6 inches. This tells me these new towels are 40% thicker than the shop towels! Although these are not as plush as white hand towels found in a luxury hotel, they are perfect for my utilitarian requirements. I’m so glad I finally found towels that meet my needs. I’ve included side-by-side photos of these towels, compared to my shop towels, and a picture of my dryer’s lint filter.

Bought these back in 2022 and they are holding up so well after many, MANY washes. Absorbent and soft. Great value for your money. I just bought more (hoping to do less towel loads!).

I use these everyday in my spa for my pedicures. Absolutely love them! Soft and very durable! I was worried about some reviews with them falling apart but I'm going on 2 years now and theyre brand new still!!! I now need more because I'm expanding but I want the same color! Please bring them back in stock!!

These towels are great! Love the color as it helps ‘hide’ the dirt build up over the day & multiple hand drying. The towel dries your hands well & it feels soft. Good purchase 👍🏼
