This is a great kit. It comes with a nice case that stores all the lenses, clips, and cleaning cloth. The case is not too big so I can easily throw it in my backpack. The clip itself is sturdy and has some weight to it and the spring has a good amount of tension to it so the lens stays clipped. Its hard to tell from the pictures but the lenses have a good weight to them and seem sturdier and higher quality than the cheaper ones out there. I can use the lens on both forward and back-facing cameras. And I like that this kit comes with 2 clips. This way, I can switch between the different lenses quickly and easily. Otherwise, I would have to unscrew the lens from the clip to change it. Overall, pleased with this product.

The lens is ready to clip on directly out of the box and super easy to use. The quality is exceptional and a terrific value for the price.

I really like these except the macro lens you have to practically touch the item to get a clear image. I assumed you can get a closeup in macro without being so close.

I have an iPhone XR and did a lot of research on lenses...was looking at Moment and Sandmarc for the longest time but wasn't hot on buying a solution that relied on a proprietary case. I wanted lenses that I could use even when I upgraded my phone. The Blackeye travel kit packaged the lenses I wanted at a fair price. The Telephoto/Portrait lens was awesome from the get-go...beautiful portrait shots as well as other shots I recently took on a Bermuda vacation. The wide angle, I found, was more challenging to use. Regardless of whether I used my case (which was relatively thin) or no case I found the wide angle hard to align and my shots always have noticeable vignetting. Blackeye support recommended that I zoom in slightly when using the wide angle and that seemed to help but, in my opinion, that's a workaround. I'll keep trying to work at it I guess. Still, it's a nice product and well packaged.

The lenses and the case are very well made, but you need to be very precise with the location over the Iphone lens, because, otherwise, the images will be blurred. So, the ease of use is not the ideal.

I really wanted to love this set. I'd read reviews and saw product photos and produced photos beforehand. When it arrived I was immediately impressed by the packaging as it felt high-quality. The lenses clipped on without too much of a problem with alignment. That said, the lack of versatility of this product was immediately evident. The telephoto lens can only be used with the primary "wide" angle lens on your phone. I own a iPhone 8+ and that meant I couldn't get more than a bit less than 4x zoom with the telephoto (combined with the 1.9x zoom I could do with the phone without it jumping to the secondary telephoto lens.) The photo quality I could achieve with the telephoto clip lens was better than what I could get with my iPhone 8+ alone. But the fact that I couldn't zoom as much as I could with my native telephoto was a bit disappointing. What added to that was the fact that my husband's iPhone X telephoto photo quality was on par with what could be achieved with this lens attachment. We had intended to share this lens kit between us but this convinced him he wouldn't need it. The wide angle lens has blurry edges and felt a bit like it was caught somewhere between a wide angle and a fisheye. Pictures felt distorted and it wasn't what I was looking for. As for the macro, you have to get uncomfortably close to get the images focused. All of the above is my experience, I only played around with it for about an hour so maybe others could figure out ways around the issues I had. As for me, I've decided it is too much of a hassle to try to figure out a good set up.

Works well. Only downside is you have to remove your phone case to use the lens.
