This is my third refill and I can’t imagine not having a ChicWrap dispenser for my foil. It is easy to use, there is no waste of foil and I can depend on the dispenser to stand up to heavy use as it is a good quality.

I have all of these for my different wraps. So easy to cut as needed - with no tearing.I purchased this one for my brother . Quality foil included - not the thin cheap stuff.

This is so good, it seems heavier than my store-bought wrap. I love the Chic boxes too. I have ordered extra, I don’t want to run out. Supper clingy!

OMG! This is my most favorite kitchen gadget of all time! Here is why. (PS I am reviewing both the plastic wrap and foil dispensers) I had gotten so tired of softened foil and plastic wrap boxes with mushed in corners and falling off cutters. That’s how mine always looked after being in the drawer for a while. Also my small hands had a hard time gripping the box assertively enough to get a good clean tear. ChicWrap dispensers to the rescue! Theyfits perfectly in the drawer with my other wraps. The magnetic box lids keep the protruding end of the wrap neat and protected. Best of all I don’t even have to take them out of the drawer to get a perfect, flat, cleanly cut piece of foil or plastic wrap every time! Just open the drawer, pull out the length needed with two hands (!!) and slide the cutter across the top. Think of that - two hands to pull out plastic wrap. No snarled clinging to everything in sight, no jaggedly half torn barely usable pieces. Oh do I LOVE this gadget! They are well constructed of sturdy material, the cutters slide across easily and each holds a standard roll of foil or plastic wrap. If I wanted to take them out of my drawer the non skid feet on the bottom would keep them from skittering across the counter. Be sure to measure your drawer depth carefully remembering the cutter on the top of the box. Also, the the foil dispenser and the plastic wrap dispenser are designed differently so cannot really be used interchangeably. The foil box is also a little longer than the plastic wrap box.

I've had this for a good number of months now and use it with regularity. I agree with the reviews that recommend using heavy duty foil (that's all I use anyway). I also bought the 18" version as well for wide foil. Both work as advertised, nice clean, measured cuts and still working like new.

Has rubber feet +, Easy to load +, Box is a heavy sturdy carboard like material finished in a wipeable/water resistant covering (this can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Water on the counter wouldn't affect it if you placed the box on it), Stays in place when you lift straight up and then pull out because the box is heavy enough but not too heavy to pull out of a drawer with one hand. Fits inside my top drawer +. Inside dimensions are 12 1/2" long x 2" wide x 2" high. Outside dimensions are marked in description. Cuts nicely can't say that it always will, I have used it a few times. You pull the foil over the cutter plate (which is made of rubber to hold it steady), close the lid and cut the foil. I am able to do this in one swipe. Cuts from left to right and right to left. Only thing I don't like is that you have to lift the lid each time to pull the foil forward and cut again. But the top lid is what holds it in place when you cut and it does stop the foil from bunching up when cutting. Which is why it is probably made this way. It fits my reynolds wrap foil. Should be packed better, it comes in a box loose with a row of bubble on top. Doesn't protect the box itself. I blame this on Amazon not the seller, since Amazon packs it. I will update if the blade starts having any issues over time. Great gift idea.
